Congratulations! It looks like it will be a two or three day drive back to CO for you. Enjoy the drive!
Goodness.I also hit a CAT scale to see what this thing really weighs. 4340lbs front axle and 2940lbs rear axle. Total weight is 7280lbs.
yup which the reason the tire psi does not need to be jacked up to 65psi the rear. at 35psi the duratracs support 2105 per tire and at 40psi 2315 per tire and at 45 psi 2510 per tire. rides a heck of a lot better at 40/35 or or 45/30 etc.I also hit a CAT scale to see what this thing really weighs. 4340lbs front axle and 2940lbs rear axle. The dealership had mine at 74psi all around. I lowered it to 50/44 and it was much better. Anything lower than 50psi on the front make the tire look almost flat.yup which the reason the tire psi does not need to be jacked up to 65psi the rear. at 35psi the duratracs support 2105 per tire and at 40psi 2315 per tire and at 45 psi 2510 per tire. rides a heck of a lot better at 40/35 or or 45/30 etc.
I'll have to play around with the psi now that I'm home.mine don't look flat. this is 45/40 and definitely could go lower.
I did the chalk test on mine to determine the best pressures.I'll have to play around with the psi now that I'm home.
Yikes. Everybody go poop before the road trip or we have to leave the cooler behindAlso, for anyone interested my payload capacity is 1,484 lbs.
Lol, it is better than what I had on the Gladiator. That said, 1400 pounds is still pretty good. Even with an average family of four, there is still 800-900 pounds left for payload.Yikes. Everybody go poop before the road trip or we have to leave the cooler behind![]()
mine is 1565 lbs of payload but it does not take anything for that to get eaten up. by going to 35's I ate up 125lbs of that paylad. adding sliders probably another 100lbs, tranny skid 35-40lbs etc. it all adds up.
a very light GFC and a load of weekend camping gear threw me over by a fair amount.
