I did the drive back in a single day. Left my dad's place in Arkansas at a little before 3am and made it home just a little after 4pm (5pm in AR time). I had to fill up 2.5 times on the drive home. I was running 80mph most of the time with some passing into the 90s :eek:. I averaged 12.5mpg on that trip.

yup which the reason the tire psi does not need to be jacked up to 65psi the rear. at 35psi the duratracs support 2105 per tire and at 40psi 2315 per tire and at 45 psi 2510 per tire. rides a heck of a lot better at 40/35 or or 45/30 etc.

The dealership had mine at 74psi all around. I lowered it to 50/44 and it was much better. Anything lower than 50psi on the front make the tire look almost flat.
 
mine is 1565 lbs of payload but it does not take anything for that to get eaten up. by going to 35's I ate up 125lbs of that paylad. adding sliders probably another 100lbs, tranny skid 35-40lbs etc. it all adds up.

It can go fast, but that GFC took 20% of your total payload.
