I have a 2022 6.7 with 79000 on the clock. Started using Archoil about a year ago. Regens have pretty much been on a 24hr schedule as it should. Today I left the house and it went in to regen on the 24hr mark. Drove about 15 miles and it finished. About 3 miles later truck did a sudden surge and message popped up, Exhaust System needs service See Dealer. Noticed from then on when accelerating it would slowly get up to speed, like it was being held back. I change oil & fuel filters every 5000 miles. Buy fuel at a local bulk distributor. Brought it to dealership. called and told me they found black soot in tailpipe the dpf was cracked. Found a code in it for low pressure on fuel rail. He didn't know how long the code has been there. I have owned this truck since 11/2021 and have never seen a check engine light or a stored message and has never been back to the dealership for anything. They wanted to change both fuel filters and dpf filter and desoot it for $3700. I said just because it has soot in tailpipe I need a new dpf filter ? I asked about the low fuel pressure code, said they would look into that after this was done first. And of course my extended warranty does not cover any of this. I went and picked it up. Just wondering if someone else has had this happen.
