Looking for pictures of a door sticker for a specific configuration. Not just payload but also looking for the sticker for axle ratings. I can’t find one in stock to review (can’t find any short beds in stock at all in SRW Crew) and would be hesitant to order without an idea. An actual cat weight slip would be nice also but I know that’s pushing it.
2020 3500 SRW Crew Cab Short Bed HO CTD Limited 5th wheel prep air ride.
I tow a 5th wheel with a GVWR of 13995 and expected loaded pin weight of 2800. My state requires a Class A over 26000 combined GVWR. It looks the GVWR on above configured truck would be 11,800 because of the short bed. This is perfect but I am trying to figure out if I will be within the truck GVWR and RAWR. I am currently towing with an F250 Platinum with a 10k GVWR and a 6340 RAWR. I am quite sure I am over these values and want to go to something that I am within spec even though I know it is largely a paper exercise on the Ford I would rather not chance the liability. That is a debate I rather not go into. I put about 12k miles a year on my truck and of that about 4-5k are towing this 5th wheel. The remainder is daily driving and I would rather stay with SWR and short bed for convenience and to avoid the licensing.
