Looking for pictures of a door sticker for a specific configuration. Not just payload but also looking for the sticker for axle ratings. I can’t find one in stock to review (can’t find any short beds in stock at all in SRW Crew) and would be hesitant to order without an idea. An actual cat weight slip would be nice also but I know that’s pushing it.

2020 3500 SRW Crew Cab Short Bed HO CTD Limited 5th wheel prep air ride.

I tow a 5th wheel with a GVWR of 13995 and expected loaded pin weight of 2800. My state requires a Class A over 26000 combined GVWR. It looks the GVWR on above configured truck would be 11,800 because of the short bed. This is perfect but I am trying to figure out if I will be within the truck GVWR and RAWR. I am currently towing with an F250 Platinum with a 10k GVWR and a 6340 RAWR. I am quite sure I am over these values and want to go to something that I am within spec even though I know it is largely a paper exercise on the Ford I would rather not chance the liability. That is a debate I rather not go into. I put about 12k miles a year on my truck and of that about 4-5k are towing this 5th wheel. The remainder is daily driving and I would rather stay with SWR and short bed for convenience and to avoid the licensing.

Thank you very much! I could only find some worse pdf type version that wasn’t as detailed as this. This confirms 11,800 gvwr now I think I can go back and review that thread where I saw people posting payloads and weights to get the other details o need. Thanks!

edit: actually I don’t think that thread had stickers from any 3500 short beds but I can perhaps use the chart to do the math to see about how much the options weigh and then estimate.

edit: found a user jpaeth with an exact configuration I am looking at. I am a new member so not sure if I can personal message him. If you see this have you happened to weigh your rig? I see you have a Grand Design. We do too, the 311bhs

You can also search for a truck in dealer inventory that has same / similar config, copy the VIN, and enter the VIN on the ram trucks.com site under towing and payload. That will give you a more accurate number as the accessories on the higher trims eat up the payload figures in the charts.

Use the @ and then member name.

@jpaeth this guy wants to know about your truck

You can also message him direct. Just use the little envelope between your avatar and the alert bell at the top of the page.

Any questions just ask. We all really like talking about our trucks. Atleast I see it that way lol

Mine is 6K front axle, 7K rear axle. Same config except mine's a real pickup bed (8').

Axle ratings will be the same. The HO for sure comes with the 12" AAM rear.

That is part of the problem. Basically no short bed configurations in stock anywhere with a Limited. I think I found some Laramie's pretty far away, I will try those.

I found a number of SRW SB MC Limiteds in a 150 mile radius of Washington, DC, you could try checking out one of the zip codes in that area to search. Didn't see any with the CC, but there were at least 5 MC ones with the specs you're looking for that would at least give you a ballpark payload figure.

Thanks, I finally found some laramie crew cabs within a reasonable distance. MC changes the GVWR which I am guessing will impact their payload stickers and puts me over my 26k licensing requirement. I have also considered just getting the license and going to MC Dually but my wife would have to get the license too and I use it as a daily driver about 2/3 of the time so I am thinking I will stay with CC SB.

I know it's state dependent, but doesn't it only put you over if you're actually running 26,001 or higher GCWR?

My truck GCWR is 33,610. In Colorado, I'm good unless I'm actually running over 26K.
