I strongly disagree the new paint is easier to scratch and chips easier also it was 2010 when it was outright banned every vehicle i have had since then the paint sucks my 01 and 05 are in great shape my 2011, 2014, and current 2019 all scratched and chipped easyI don't know about that ever since oil base paint sucks comment lol. I know all my vehicles I've owned that were of the 2000's vintage, the paint has held up great compared to the paint of the 80's-90's that fell off if you looked at it wrong lol
Ok, well my last truck was an 05 so maybe I won't be impressed with 2021 paint durability I guess lol. The wife's 2015 Jeep paint has seemed to hold up pretty well though and it sits outside 24/7. I guess time will tell.I strongly disagree the new paint is easier to scratch and chips easier also it was 2010 when it was outright banned every vehicle i have had since then the paint sucks my 01 and 05 are in great shape my 2011, 2014, and current 2019 all scratched and chipped easy
Lol, I was waiting for a response like that. Surprised it took so long actually haha!!I try not to, it hurts too much when they rip off that tape.
Let us know how it worked on your wife...I am going to have my truck and wife van coated by the body shop. We had her Mustang done at the Ford dealer before we picked it up. Even Florida love bugs wiped off with a sponge an a water spray bottle. Washes after coating one can see the water cascading down the vehicle.
Those love bugs are the worst. Thankfully I only lived in love bug country for a few years. None up here.I am going to have my truck and wife van coated by the body shop. They remove the wax to apply a professional ceramic coating. If you wax, should you wait before you have the truck ceramic coated? Or does the paint correction remove the wax?
