I hear that the ram trucks with diesels have a extra cab heater, electric maybe? Has anyone used it? Have any info? Cab warm up super quick?
NiceThey have an electric heater than heats the truck while the engine warms up. I think it’s quoted to start heating in 2-3 min of start up.

This supplemental heater can be had on vehicles with automatic or manual climate controls. However, the workshop manual lists it as an option rather than standard equipment. Check your fuses / relays under the hood. The manual calls it a "Positive Temperature Coefficient" heater, or PTC.
Add: if your have the heater, you'll also have an aux PDC under the hood located just below the driver side cowl. It will be populated with three relays and three fuses.
I checked mine too. It is listed on the "Options" section. So not being standard, my guess it is the trim level that determine if you have it of not.I retrieved my Build Sheet HERE and found out it is indeed on my 2020. This is a good place to start you search to see if you might have it.
The following image is a brief section of my build sheet showing the Supplemental Heater listed as being on my vehicle. This way you will know what to look for.
Yep, it shows up in the Equipment Listing (no sales code) but is AWOL on the window sticker. And it's no where to be found when doing build and price on the Ram sites. Somebody with access to Starparts could likely dig up a sales code.I retrieved my Build Sheet HERE and found out it is indeed on my 2020. Makes sense.Likely standard with the diesel motors, but in the options section because the diesel motors are also options. Standard equipment would the be 6.4 HEMI.
