I take my truck in today as I was instructed to by the FCA 2nd rep, I get to the dealer and see my service writer and he gets my key, plugs in the ob2 and comes back. I show him the video at 2:09 of the rapid tap tap tap tap that comes from the middle of the block and then the weird vibration noise then it sounds like a normal 6.7 and that my rear diesel fuel filter is leaking diesel fuel that has never been changed. He proceeds to tell me that the area service manager has said not to perform anymore repairs to my truck. I ask him even the rear diesel fuel filter that is leaking, and he says that’s correct. I ask why my FCA rep even made the appointment then, he responds idk. No call to cancel the appointment or nothing just let me drive 100 mile round trip to them just to get frustrated.
I hope other owners don’t ever need warranty work done and then the area service rep and dealers refuse to work on your trucks, so much for a 3/36 100k warranty that is worthless if you can’t get a dealer to even fix a leaking fuel filter. And then don’t get me started as I’m leaving he tells me of the WO3 update that parts are not going to be available till Nov 2020.
Hey RamCares, how am I to get things fixed on my truck that break if the area service manager has told the dealer not to fix even leaking fuel filters under warranty?
