Changed wheels stabilization sucks

It may also be worth looking at alignment. I wouldn't think the small change in height would have such an impact with no change to the offset or track width. A little more positive caster and zero toe, may be worth a shot.

Offset is close to same. The rims are 20" ram rims off a limited 2020. New take offs. I took off steel 18" mines a 2020. No rubbing at all. Not even close. Let me ask this. Can you lay your wrist over the top of your steering wheel and hit a good bump without having to correct the truck when it's over. In my 550 I can the ram I need to be ready to correct it. Not the end of the world but it's not right either.

Lug nuts changed? Not sure if there is a difference, but some steel and aluminum wheels use different tapers/seats. Might be close and off just enough to allow some wheel movement.

A stabilizer is not going to fix your problem, and I doubt your factory one is worn out. My 2016 is still running the factory stabilizer at 81K miles with 35" tires and it still performs great.

Are these used tires you bought with the wheels? Was any other work done to the truck?

.

That sucks. Was thinking offset or PSI as well, but you already answered those questions. I would expect not as good ride quality out of a 20 vs. the 18, but probably not as bad as you're having.

The guys at CJC Offroad might be able to help you diagnose things without trying to throw a bunch of money at it.
Contacted Carli and they had CJC get back to me. They told me to lower psi in tires to 45 when unladen and to add the Carli steering stabilizer to dampen road feedback because oem does not dampen. Psi no problem and the stabilizer is 8 weeks so have to wait for those results.

Yes all changed they are the correct Ram oem nuts for the wheels.

Same exact height as originals if it's off it's by 1/8". I combed through tires for this size to make sure it would be same height.

Don't know if you ever look through their blogs, but they are pretty informative in both the blog, and the comments section at the bottom where they get on and answer questions.

Article on their steering stabilizer:

thanks Dave88LX Carli has links to Toyo inflation charts. 45psi in a toyo is the same load capacity as 80 psi in the firestones it came with. To say Toyo E rated is a tougher 10 ply than the firestone E rated 8 ply isn't even scratching the surface. So I lowered psi to 45 then went into apps and changed the tpms notification to 42 to shut it up. Nice again. I'm so used to high psi in everything I never thought 45 in a 2500.
