Yeah, almost right after I posted that pic, other campers started running around saying a tornado watch and camp staff says to head to the big bathhouses. Had to drive to the one of them, dropped the misses off at a bathhouse and was going to make a run to Kearney with the dogs. Dogs do not do so well around lots of strangers. People were leaving, gathering at the bathhouses, it was chaotic. Got maybe a mile and the sirens went off. Turned around and headed back and stopped at another bathhouse with lots of others. Rain started hard with some hail then. Dogs and I stayed in the truck, as did others, and waited and watched. Bathhouse looked packed. More sirens. Texted better half and she was fine at her bathhouse, but spooked as heck. Ended around midnight and I picked her up and we went back to the trailer. Dogs calmed down after that and we passed out. Never thought I would be glad to say I had NOT received my new Ram. I did see some Ford Super boys who trying to hide under trees with their trucks. Aluminum and hail really did not mix.
