Look up Tony at York Dodge in Prescott, Az. The original person that figured this was the issue gave me that name. I called Tony and got information from him, apparently two engineers were there to look at the truck and then they found that that was the issue. Tony has all of the information. I had just bought my truck and was due to leave pulling the camper 4500 miles and I bought from my dealership for years, including my family also. They would’ve even pulled it out of another truck had there have been one on their lot. I suggest you call Tony on speakerphone in front of the service department.

Also, the lights blink every time you plug the trailer in to cycle them for testing….

Replaced the trailer plug today and still not working. My trailer running lights just flash and aren’t constant. Didn’t take it for a drive yet to see if the trailer disconnected message would appear. Just out of curiosity, checked the power on the truck connection and nothing on the running lights. Maybe that’s my problem. Back to the dealership, at least this time I have more information to question how they were able to test everything successfully last week

It’s likely the switch on the dash that is bad. Let me guess, 14” screen?
