Borla S Type exhaust

I need to meet up with you and hear this setup
yeah that looks pretty good. might go with that instead of the gibson catback. I'll see. I kind of like my Gibson because the tip is tucked tight and points down a bit more. although that's on an 18 and not a 22.

I have one and it fits just fine. No drone at all, at any speed, even when towing. Only hear it when accelerating. At cruise, it doesn't really sound different than stock.

Is your truck a Power Wagon? And if so what year? I’m assuming that you leave the resonator on.

Mine is a power wagon and no it’s a cat back system. Everything from the cat back is replaced.

I know folks here had mentioned the up to 2018 2500 6.4L product would work for up to 2022. I reached out to Borla for the hell of it...since my truck isn't here yet. They did indicate that they are "working on it" and release is "in a week or so". :)

People have already put the up to 18 kits on the new gen. What’s the difference going to be?

That is a fantastic question! LOL!!! I also have seen people have put them on 2019-2022s...but, I had time on my hands so figured...what the hell? Why not ask them? LOL. I guess we'll find out if there really is anything different. I did also ask them about a dual exhaust option. Maybe they meant that? Maybe not?

I’d be down with a dual exhaust setup but not straight out. Hide the tips and tip them down a bit.

And just like that Borla increased the price on the 2014-2018 to match the 2019-2022. So that should confirm that there are no changes.

Different part numbers 140801 vs 140851?
and if you pull up install instructions for those two systems they show a different muffler assembly part number between the two and a different tailpipe assembly number between the two. they share the same clamps and same over axle pipe piece but makes me wonder what the difference is between the mufflers and the tailpipes?

Many instances where folks have put the pre-2019 on the 2019+. Notice the video I posted above. I just found a pre-2019 on Amazon at the "old" price.
