Black headlights : need help

Can some with a Big Horn who has the black halogen headlights help me with a part number for them. I found this article referencing them but have not been able to search and locate them. I have not found a vin number for one to search that way either. Thank you.

I don't have a part number, but did a quick search for a Big Horn Black and found a YouTube video of one at a dealership. They posted the VIN - 3C6UR5JLXKG546369
 
I did a Vin search on a one I found after the post was made. The Mopar online site brought back 4 different sets of headlight and for some reason none of them gave any description of the differences. I gather two were halogen as they were around 450 each and two were in the 800 range. Assuming the LED versions.
 
Why would you “upgrade “ to the black halogen lights when you can get the black led ones for a few bucks more...?
 
They are on rock auto, look for description of black bezel

I may go ahead and be the guinea pig on these. If jimmy says it’s the right part I believe it

The black halogen headlights should be a direct swap with the chrome halogen headlights right? This alphaOBD stuff is over my head.

should only have to pull the tube off my bumper to clear the removal of the grille

I believe it is a direct swap.

It’s more than a few dollar and not a direct swap from what I can tell. The bezels may be a direct swap but then you have to get into recoding, relays etc.

No its just some changes in alfaobd even some dealers can do it

I agree. I have LEDs but prefer the look (but not the light) of the halogen.

Could one retrofit a halogen assembly but retain LED bulbs?

Yes headlight revolution sells led bulb kits for these trucks
