Where can I learn the bed height of a specific 2026, 2500 and 3500 Longhorn Ram?

Thank you, I am after that same info for a 2026, 2500, 6.7 motor, 6.4 bed, 2 wheel drive, single wheel, with and without auto level

Not only does RAM try and hide those numbers but surprise of surprises a 2019 1500 has a deeper box then a 2022 2500, well over an inch close to an 1 1/2.

The published specs show the bed height difference at .4”, with the LD being taller.

Not what I found, I had a 12 volt refrigerator in my 2019 1500, it cleared with my flush mounted tri fold cover. Then I got the 2022 2500, I didn't even consider that there would be a difference in bed depths. Untill I sat the refrigerator in the deb and it stuck up higher then the bed rails. I was quite unhappy as that eliminated most all fold up covers. There was in excess of an inch difference in the inside heights or the depth of the beds.

Just telling you what the published specs show. The LD has a 20” depth and the HD a 19.6” depth.

There can be other factors like rib height and/or OEM bedliner thickness that will have an effect on usable depth.

Thank you for the reply.
Reason for the dimension question: Would like to order 2026, 2500, Longhorn. Mission is towing 5th wheel. Presently, have 2022, 2500, 6.4, diesel, air, 2 wd. Bed wall height is 52.5 from ground and provides the required 6 inch clearance (when trailer level) between bed wall and trailer. If I take delivery of a truck with bed wall height greater than 52.5 inches, it will be junk. I've spent a lot of time with many dealers and am unable to be assured of meeting my dimension need. I'm betting that someone at Ram would have the solution, but haven't been smart enough to find them.

The charts put the 2022 and 2026 at the same height, which would be 59.6” closed endgate height. Subtract 3.3” for 4x2 air and 4.3” for 4x2 air in alt ride height, that’s 55.3” and well above what you said your truck measures. Where exactly are you measuring?

I have the same issue with my '22 laramie 2500 4x4 ccsb. my 5th wheel ends up nose high when hooked up with 6" clearance20240923_135143.jpg. my son and I both have the same 5th wheel and 2500 dsl laramies. we have been trying to come up with something to level things out and keep adequate bed clearance. seems that all newer trucks are taller. we thinking lift blocks on trailer axle or going to taller tires and 16" wheels but no solution is cheap.

52.5 top of bed wall, at 4.5 ft aft of bed forward wall. 53.75 at top of tailgate. Both with aux ride height on.(lowest position)

Walk a dealership lot with a tape measure.

Thank you.
Been to six dealers and logged 4 hours with tape at the ready; have phoned five others. My search has shown, among other things, that the new 2026 Ram 2500, Longhorns, are parked right next to the hen's teeth.

Thank you AH64ID, for your time and responses. You have provided the most valuable information that I have received in a 2 month search. You know your stuff.

If a dealer is that serious about wanting to make a sale, they will allow you to take all the measurements in the world. If not, tell em to kick rocks and take your business elsewhere.

Good luck.

58.5" to top of bed sidewall for my '22 ram 4x4 ccsb Laramie. stock suspension and stock size 20" tires

I have been looking at the idea of using a single axle with real truck tires instead of dual baby suspensions like most trailers have. Potentially eliminates tire scrub, better lateral traction, and lifts up the trailer for better clearance.
