Bed Covers

Beds have not changed from pre 22’s

I've posted a pic in other threads, but I am thrilled with my BAK X4S. Hard roll up. Easy to install, fits very well and a great hybrid between a hard cover and a roll up.View attachment 22610View attachment 22611
Came here to say this. Don't even have the thing yet and I'm already in love with it.
looks great but covering the back up camera is a deal breaker for me.
This is a hard roll-up tonneau cover so it doesn't cover any more than the bottom of the rear window, as is shown in Sponge60's picture. This is not the flip up tonneau covers that flip up against the back of the cab when fully opened.

I have been waiting for 3 months (since before I got my truck) for this cover. Still not sure when it will come in, so frustrating, especially because the weather has turned bad. I am really thinking of just buying something like a BakFlip in the meantime so that I can put my sons stroller in the bed and not the megacab. I am very envious of you with that cover lol.
@AEV_CUMMINS I ordered from BAK, and it took about two weeks for it to arrive. 3 months so far. Dang.

Talked to dealer and their rep spoke to the president of Bak at SEMA and asked what production is like and was told they are not accepting orders right now because they do not have the materials to buildand ship. I decided I was not going to play the waiting game with no end in sight anymore and conveniently found the Retrax cover and had the dealer pay for the whole thing including the Yakima rack system when they originally only bargained for the Bak cover. Was a win win for me.

Has anyone had the Truxedo deuce hybrid? Good bad or indifferent?

Retrax Report - Since I had the Retrax installed I figured I'd do some measuring and pass this info on. The box the cover rolls into takes up 13.5 inches; measured from the edge of the cover it's about 14.25. The height is right at 20 inches. There's still about 9.5 inches below the box that is useful. In my 1500, I used that space to put boxes up against the front of the bed when packing the bed full of stuff.

Put the Retrax PowertraxPRO MX on six months ago and love it. Had the Pro MX on the 1500 but with the taller bed the Powertrax is just easier for us old folks lol.

Got the new LEER HF650M on today in the rain, no problem. Better pics later, sorry. Really loving it!

Has anybody used a roll up cover that plays nice with a ladder rack? Not the TracRack type. I’m talking The custom welded onto angle iron bolted to bed rails type of rack. Would the 3/8-1/2” less width from the angle iron between the rails make these roll ups not fit? Or is there one out there that is designed to do this?

I am working on the same thing. But with the retrax cover. I think rack-it racks can be custom built for any application. I’m going to work on this soon
