Bed Covers

Their message service has not answered me…guess I’ll head over to Autoanything. Rhr is charging tax as well.

I have the Peragon and it is great. I can remove it by myself in about 2 minutes.

For people thinking of going with MX4, although mine is a long bed, MX4 does cover the digital rear view camera if you have that feature. Something to keep in mind.

Do you know if it covers the camera on the 6'4 bed?

Looking for info on the folding or rolling bed covers for a Megacab. I have a hard shell cover on mine now (Undercover) it can be removed fairly easily by two people but I want something I can handle myself when I want to haul something…
Have you looked at Retrax? I had one on my 2013 1500, and will be having one installed on my new 2500. Rolls into a canister at front; locks very securely; can be opened partially for ease in using bed as you need.

I had a back flip F1 on my last truck. I liked the convenience of opening up for larger loads. Didn’t like being limited on height capacity. Things like my generator wouldn’t fit below it.

I do like the flip design better than the roll up. Too much space is consumed by the roll at the front of the bed. It’s real convenient but that’s a lot of space.

Was never able to keep out water with the back flip. Especially around the tail gate. Had some damaged cargo as a result. Unacceptable in my opinion. Last time I had a leaky trunk was in my 72 Duster.

New truck has a fiberglass cap, ARE Z-2, and it stays bone dry in back. I prefer the cap over the lid as I can haul much more inside. If I need to haul larger stuff I use a trailer or borrow a friends truck.

After 8 months of a cap vs lid, I would do the cap again. Your needs may differ but just sharing some thoughts.

Couldn't agree more. I think everyone has to choose what best fits their individual needs. With so many products out there, we all have many choices. For me, the Retrax fits my needs & I'm a satisfied customer having used the product for 8 years on my 1500. I've got an appointment set for 11/11 to take the truck to shop for a spray-in bedliner and Retrax install. Can you believe it - all set for my towing needs with factory 5th wheel prep & Tow Tech Group but no factory spray-in bedliner!

I've posted a pic in other threads, but I am thrilled with my BAK X4S. Hard roll up. Easy to install, fits very well and a great hybrid between a hard cover and a roll up.View attachment 22610View attachment 22611
I have been waiting for 3 months (since before I got my truck) for this cover. Still not sure when it will come in, so frustrating, especially because the weather has turned bad. I am really thinking of just buying something like a BakFlip in the meantime so that I can put my sons stroller in the bed and not the megacab. I am very envious of you with that cover lol.

Agree, I have had Retrax covers on my last 2 trucks and will be putting one on my new one when it arrives.

Has anyone mounted a Leer HF650M on a 2022 2500 6-4 bed? Leer can’t guarantee a fit till they try one, I find it hard to believe the measurements have changed on the bed. I don’t want to order one with 60 day return and find out it doesn’t fit, truck not here yet.
