BAJA Design Squadron Fog Light Kit

Has anyone swapped the lenses from the fog configuration to the combo ones?

I have..... the cones inside are different on the SAE vs normal. you will have to sacrifice a set of sports to convert them, the parts are not available to buy besides the lenses and bezel.

I’m considering buying the new ones before sending my old ones back for upgrade so I don’t have to sit 4-6 weeks downtime. My BD fogs are a large portion of my forward lighting

Im certainly not upset about it, they’re awesome for doing the upgrades.

I did this the first hour it was announce and available to buy on their web site. I will be doing a write up on the differences once they come in, so people can see what they want to do.
I ordered them march 1st, next week will be week 4 so they could ship any day now.

I actually just did this recently. The fogs seem to shoot higher now than they did with the wide cornering lens.

That's what I was worried about. I have the Sports and while I don't get flashed much, it occasionally happens. A bit longer range would be nice with a more directed beam.

Yeahhhhhhh, I'm that guy that went with the Squadron R-Pro's. I have had them on for a couple of months and have yet to be flashed........then again I identify as a PowerWagon and NOT a Tacoma!

I my need to do the reverse on my chase light. I might need to get the work lens. LOL

I'm pretty sure it's more than just the lens? I think the reflector inside is different as well because I was hoping to just swap the lens cover and it didn't look like it would work to give me a true SAE version.

I don't ever use mine on road unless it's dumping snow. Hence the reason I want to turn off the auto-on function when low speed turning or with the turn signal.

BD told me to change out the lens. Mine are not the SAE. It wouldn't make sense for a chase light.

Hey all, just installed the squadron sports this weekend and noticed I have a 1 inch gap between light and bezel on the passeneger side and no gap on the driver side. Is this normal or did I screw something up somewhere? 3012E8E9-10E1-4289-998A-0BC1C54A9D2D.jpegB3399E2E-2A9E-4C5E-A234-F44DA24BACF2.jpeg

Mine both look like the driver side but I have an aev bumper. It does use all the factory fog mounts and fog bezels so should be similar

I'm also in the process of installing these and I noticed a gap on both sides but it wasn't an inch, more like a 1/4" or so. Some of it looks to be from the rotation of the light in the bracket. But I wasn't thrilled with the fit of the bezels into the bumper.

Did you ever find the answer to this? I've recently installed the Sport's and would like to disable the cornering feature.
