I have messaged Paul... no response as of a week ago ...I got the wiring kit from paul. once you have that, and install, alfa will allow changes to activate the buttons.
Make your own? It's not overly complicated and there are now a few people that have posted the correct part numbers for the connectors. Which no one was willing to do earlier.I have messaged Paul... no response as of a week ago ...
Any alternatives to the wiring kit??
Ya I guess I could but not in my wheel house.Make your own? It's not overly complicated and there are now a few people that have posted the correct part numbers for the connectors. Which no one was willing to do earlier.

Not for GEN 5 trucks ... Thanks thoI was going to post after they got their install video completed but here is an option. I just purchased and will hopefully find some time to install in the next couple of weeks. Note - I ordered the buttons separately and the vendor stated if you order the buttons with the kit, there could be a delay due to availability. https://www.4wheelelectronics.com/p...-classic-model-ram-auxiliary-button-relay-kit

Agreed, their website needs work. They will order the switches directly from a Mopar vendor. When you order they ask you what features you currently have so they can order the correct buttons. The buttons I ordered on my own have front and rear park sense along with tow/haul and exhaust brake. Also do they offer the AUX switch with park sense front and rear?
Website is not done very well
I have a 5th Gen 1500 Rebel and I created a “jumper harness” today for my truck. I also installed a switch panel that I got off eBay for $100. Now I have to get the OBD MX+ ordered, because apparently the BAFX OBD2 scanner that I already have won’t give me access to all the modules. So I haven’t gotten the aux switches “turned on” in the BCM yet.The BAFX should be fine for this, but the problem is there are issues getting the switches enabled on the 5th gen 1500s. Did you just unpin the 6 oem wires? Seems you could just leave them “terminated” in the oem plug then do what you did here?View attachment 30696I have a 5th Gen 1500 Rebel and I created a “jumper harness” today for my truck. I have a 1500, so the six wires weren’t in the plug to begin with. Unfortunately even after turning on the option for the aux switches and selecting the switch options with Alfa OBD, the switches still do not power up.Did you just unpin the 6 oem wires? If you have a power wagon, make sure the new left dash harness has the 5 rear axle locker wires, otherwise you’ll have to strip them out of your existing left dash harness to add to the new one.Wow lots of information since I visited. I gave up when the Aux Switch I ordered became back ordered then discontinued. I looked around to day and found one; 68476024AB [X81], [XAG], [LHL]. It's for front and rear park sense, which our Power Wagon has.
I had been looking for a new factory harness with the Aux PDC included and I think I found one today 200 shipped! It's 68460171AA Left Dash Wiring with [LHL] code. They must be blowing them out. This way I can have a completely factory aux switch setup. [X81], [XAG], [LHL]
The new harness is for a Cummins 3500 chassis cab. (It was $163 without shipping) My plan is to strip the Aux PDC and wiring out of the new harness and build a stand alone one for the project. I thought that might be the better route. If you have a power wagon, make sure the new left dash harness has the 5 rear axle locker wires, otherwise you’ll have to strip them out of your existing left dash harness to add to the new one.
