(I am going to jinx myself and catch a flat today for asking this.)
I run my '68 and '95 Land Cruisers without a spare, just a compressor and a great plug kit in each. If I ever get stuck somewhere, that should be enough to get me out. If I'm in the middle of nowhere and that setup doesn't work to fix it, then the tire is likely already trashed and I can slow roll out to somewhere to get a tow. And there's roadside assistance everywhere else.
But that's on my off-road rigs.
Do any of you run your trucks without a spare to keep weight down a bit? I don't think I'm going to do it, but I'm debating it this morning as I take my first coffee break from Spring cleaning the garage.
