Any 2023 Orders?

Power sliding rear window (GFE) is listed in the 2023 price guide as part of the level 1 equipment package for the Power Wagon.
Thank you! I feel like the order process was rushed with my dealer and to say they suck at communicating is being generous. However, for 4% under invoice and being local to me in Ohio, I can deal with it. Just getting a bit sweaty if everything I think I'm getting with the truck is actually coming with it!

Is anyone ordering a 2023 Power Wagon? There is a thread for discusing 2023 orders in General Discussion, but very few Power Wagon orders there. Almost all the discussion is focused on the Limited and Laramie trims. I am working on a order for a 2023, my first Ram truck, and would appreciate any feedback from those doing the same or having experience with Power Wagon. Primarily going to use the truck to haul motorcycles into the backcountry for camping with my wife and dog. Long trips throughout the West and Baja. Thanks

With the exception of the rock rails that's my exact same order

One item I couldn't find in the guide was the power sliding rear window. Is that standard on the Power Wagon? It wasn't listed as a separate option to pick when I ordered, but that order guide says 'fixed rear window'. I'm hoping it comes standard like the heated seats and remote start. Do all of you 2019 and up PW guys have the rear power sliding window?
I have a 75th and it has it.

Good evening guys, I put in an order on a 2023 PW tonight. Dealer told me that they typically get them in around 3 months when they order... I took that with a grain of salt considering what I've seen on here regarding turnaround time on ordering but we'll see what happens.

I went with:
Level 2
Bed Utility Group
Towing Tech Group
Flame Red Two Tone

Hey guys, did some digging and thought those with 2023 PW orders might find these links interesting:

First, I found this link in the old Gen Disc 2022 Order thread that shows production time tables for Stellantis factories:

Naple Fleet Production Tables
According to this, production on '23 2500's should start next Tuesday (11/1). somewhere buried in the Gen Disc 2023 Order thread this is moved a month out from the original estimated 2023 Production date of 10/1.

Second, I found this spreadsheet that was compiled for 2022 HD truck orders back in early 2021. If you go through the spreadsheet and look at order dates and then delivery dates for the Power Wagons... unfortunately the turnaround times are all very sporadic and unpredictable from what I could tell.

2022 Order Spreadsheet

One obvious trend for Power Wagons and other HD Rams that I found was a simple one: Canadian (or other export orders) all take at least 6 months. This is a given with going through the exporting process, so I didn't really consider any export orders relevant to US PW orders.

I originally thought that the more rare or uncommon the color (Olive Green, Hydro Blue, Delmonico Red, etc), the longer the sequencing and therefore build time would take. This was commonly understood with Dodge orders for Challengers/Chargers for the last few years where the more rare or special the color, the longer the order would take. (From production's standpoint, they're not going to interrupt a sequencing of 25 white or 30 black Challengers to build your purple Hellcat or green R/T). However looking through the spreadsheet this was not the case, as some people with Olive PW orders (verified by window stickers) got their trucks in less than 4 months and some took almost 8 months.
I also looked at equipment to see if there was a trend there for how long build processes take, unfortunately I saw the same result. Fully optioned PW's will sometimes take 2-6 months vs Level 1 w/ black wheels and side steps could also take 2-6 months.
Now from what I could tell (and I'm no data nerd so maybe I'm wrong) it did seem like those who placed orders around early October through December, did seem to in fact get them more commonly in roughly a 2-4 month time frame compared to any other time of the year.
For example, the 5 orders with the shortest build times I could find (from order date to delivery date) were as follows:

  1. User: Cmh2007 - Order date: 10/15/21 - Delivery date: 12/27/21 (73 days) - Window Sticker
  2. User: max31man - Order date: 1018/21 - Delivery date: 12/28/21 (71 days) - Window Sticker
  3. User: Maui Time - Order date 11/1/21 - Delivery date: 12/31/21 (60 days) - Window Sticker
  4. User: adamsmith656 - Order date: 12/3/21 - Delivery date: 1/31/21 (59 days!) - Window Sticker
  5. User: PapaJoe - Order date: 12/8/21 - Delivery Date: 2/4/21 (58 days!) - Window Sticker
There are other orders in between or around these 5 order dates, these were just the shortest deliveries I could find in this time frame (early October to mid December). Other orders placed around this time frame took closer to 3-4 months. But all of the orders from Oct-Dec were still built more quickly than any other time. Looking at window stickers, there's no visible correlation to options or colors as to why these 5 were so quickly built.

Someone more familiar with PW orders may be able to speculate better than I can as to if this timeframe for ordering (Oct-Dec) actually means anything or if these were just luck of the draw situations.

Can anyone who has actually placed an order for a 2023 share their dealer's contact info? I created a separate thread about this, but I went in to my dealer today to order a 2023 PW and it became clear going through the process that we were building the Rebel (with 18" wheels, forced to upgrade to 20", 4.10 axle as an "option", etc.).

I think my dealer needs to just talk with someone who knows how to order a PW. He's convinced he's required to select a Rebel option.

Having the same problem here in NY

Update: looks like PW order banks are not currently open, which explains the issue.

Would be nice if they gave the dealers a little insite, Thanks
I agree - my dealer was as confused as I was. If I hadn’t known the PW can’t be optioned with 20” wheels or some of the other things I was being required to add, I would be sitting in line for a Rebel 2500.

Order banks are closed. Ram customer service says "late 4th quarter" for when they will reopen.

I had the same issue, decided to just buy a low mileage 75th anniversary instead of waiting.

Any updates on PW order banks opening up?

Email I got fram Ram a week and a half ago said that they hope order banks open the second week of December.

I am trying to place an order now. Dealer isn't making a ton of sense. Saying that I can't order the bucket seats with level 1 and that the level one package is 5,800 where on the builder and the order guides it is much cheaper. Dealer also shows a level 1 group that has the winch in it....something isn't quite right

Is your dealer trying to build the Rebel?

No, they are working to order the 2GP package which is the power wagon. They just say the only way to order the buckets is with the hilariously expensive level 2.

I still don't think it's possible to order a base PW either.
