I am going to level/lift my new 2023 3500 SRW Limited when it gets here. I have been bouncing back and forth on different mfg and kits. I am pretty sure I have settled on the Carli Commuter ( see below, all Carli), I don't go "off-road" however I do spend a lot of time on snow-covered roads and roads full of potholes and frost heaves and figured that the commuter would be perfect.
I was tossing around the idea of going with the 3 ¼ Carli lift but don’t know if the ~ ¾” of an inch is worth the hassle/trouble of having to drill holes in my frame. I don’t have an authorized Carli dealer anywhere near me and it seems like it is one of those things that you don’t get a second chance to get it right.
Where I have a question is on the steering stabilizer. The Cali comes out to be over $700.00 for both. I see the regular FOX 2.0 dual steering stabilizer for around $400.00, the same for the Bilstein. Is the difference really worth $300?

2.5 Commuter-level Kit
Track Bar
Torsion Sway Bar
High and Low mount steering stabilizers
Differential guard

Stock stabilizer works just fine, save your money. I'm at 126K on mine, leveled with 35's and it still works great.

.

I didnt want to drill holes in the frame either, so i pieced my kit together with Radius arms that are designed for the increased height.
2020 3500 SRW
Carli Backcountry 3.25"
Thuren active rate sway bar
Thuren Track bar
Full progressive leafs
Zone Radius arms
Fox ATS stabilizer
works for me, and no drilling of the frame.

yeah, I am starting to think that $700.0 is a lot and there are other options....

are the Zone radius arms longer than stock?

Check out my Signature. Pretty happy with my setup.
The rear of my truck has about 1" rake

Save the money. Steering stabilizers are completely unnecessary and do absolutely nothing.
I waited on the stabilizer thinking it wasn't necessary but after a couple months I ordered the King stabilizer. We have some rough washboard type road's and I was getting some bump steer. The King stabilizer did make a noticeable difference on my truck. Maybe it being a 3500 makes a difference

Placebo is a hell of a drug.

I drilled the holes in my frame for the Carli radius arm drop brackets. The thought of it was intimidating, but the jig they provide makes it simple.

Search my posts and you'll find my install post with lots of pictures.

So i have been thinking about this and am starting to lean to doing the drop brackets with the 3.25 srpings
