Install orientation per the instructions (or my interpretation of them) looks incorrect on my CCLB.
Anyone got pictures they can share?

Yeah I haven’t looked at the BedStep yet. This is the BedStep2 that mounts on the side of the truck but thanks for the bump up.I started to reply about Amp steps until I realized you were talking about the Bed Step. I went with the Mopar bed step so I am not any help but giving you a free bump to the top. Hopefully, you figured it out over the weekend.
I emailed Amp to see if they worked with my DRW 8' bed, but never got a response. In for info.. i want a bedstep2 but curious if theyll work with DRW Mega trucks.
Here's the photos of my truck. I installed the AMP Bedside Step2 on my 2020 RAM 3500 Tradesman CC LB dually.
I am 6'7". I have never had issues getting things out of the bed on my trucks. Until this 2020 RAM 3500 dually! I use it frequently so I am not leaning against the wheel well. I primarily put it on to access the 5th wheel hitch.I love that! Do you find yourself using it often?

Before drilling for the install, bolt up the step and determine where to drill the mounting hole. Had I done that the stowed position would be more parallel to the trim.
that would drive me nuts. I would have had to pull it off and re-drill it.I am 6'7". I have never had issues getting things out of the bed on my trucks. Until this 2020 RAM 3500 dually! Not enough space to just re-drill. The only real option at this point is to fabricate a bracket and redo. I justify it as having more toe grab area to deploy the step.that would drive me nuts. I would have had to pull it off and re-drill it.
I just measured mine. When it is extended, what's your guess as to the distance that it extends down?
I ran into a situation over weekend loading/unloading fishing rods into the rack I have under my shell through the windoors. The outermost ones were no problem, but I struggled with those in the center. I like the idea of a slight boost, but don't want to be so far up that I couldn't utilize them.
Perfect. Thank you.I just measured mine.
I have AMP bed step, not sure which model (if there's more than one) but I didn't have to drill anything to install mine. My truck is srw mega
Mine is a AMP75419-01A. Dually is different.Found the model of the step that I purchased: AMP75324-01A
Wow - when did you order to get a 2029?My truck is a 2029 RAM 3500 Tradesman CC LB DRW that required drilling one hole.
