AlfaOBD

I don't believe anyone has got it to work yet on the 2020 3500..... Mine has been done for a couple weeks now and over 1500 miles and no surround view and the front camera button does not work, going to change it back to stock tomorrow and call it a day :)

I saw this conversation last night and decided to give it a try this morning thinking maybe the front guide lines might help make it easier to line up the plow. Turned on the off-road camera and the guide lines, after a few short trips around town, the front camera showed up a little after lunch time and everything seems to work fine. 2019 2500 tradesman 6.7 with retrofitted 360 view system.

Adding you to my "I hate those guys with forward camera views" list.

LOL

I struggled to get my plow mounted. Many attempts in and out of the truck. I used the tire tracks for the first time last weekend. I wasn't straight on the first time and missed a bit. Second time I came in straight and nailed it. That alone paid for AlphaOBD :)

Nice, i didn't get to try mine out since yesterday morning I brought the plow down to the garage to be put away (Hopefully for the season) before the radio got the good news from the BCM. If we end up getting more snow in NJ this winter i'll definitely be trying it out then.

That is correct, my tradesman was a barebones truck, except for the active safety package, and i added the surround view system myself with a lot of help from the wise and all knowing Jimmy07. It's a pretty involved and costly endeavor, I think i made a complete parts list for a different thread on a different forum, i'll see if i can dig it up and post it here.

Edit: Found it!

Here's the list, keep in mind my truck is a 2019 2500 with tow mirrors! Some/many of these parts may be different for the 1500!

Central vision processing module- 4672644AJ

Rear camera- 68417514AA

Driver side mirror- 68361477AC

Door Module, Left - Mopar (68374091AF)

Passenger side mirror- 68361476AC

Door Module, Right - Mopar (68374090AF)

Front camera- 68417514AA

Radiator Grille: 68443251AA (Big Horn Black Grill)

Tailgate Handle: 6RN80GXHAA (Basic Black Handle)

RAM backing plate for front camera- 68459116AA (Fits Big Horn Grill)

Chrome Trim Pieces for Grill - 6NB37SZ0AB

Front camera bracket- 68386821AA

Front camera bezel- 68364534AA

Front camera screws (2)- 68386822AA

All Those parts come out to about $2,500, however i saved a good chunk of money getting the mirrors used off ebay.

Fakra Universal EXTENSION Cable (Choose Length Desired)

Fakra Direct Female to Female Universal Cable (Choose Desired Length)

You also need a custom Harness to give the CVPM power and access to the CANBus, there's a few members on here that can help with that. Hopefully they'll see this and chime in.

Also since you have to get the fancy Tow mirrors to get the side cameras, and you'll have Power convex mirrors with them, i suggest spending the extra $15 on the power convex button so you can take advantage of them.

Mirror Switch - Mopar (52112478AA)

Again though, to work, this button will require a very small inexpensive custom harness that can be made by other forum members.

Hope this helps.

Oh I 100% appreciate this ! :) My 19 Big Horn 2500 is seriously bare bones and I have been adding so many things myself (except the fog lights at the moment cause its cold outside and i had a vandelizm claim the dealership was fixing anyaways). I am sure the wife is gonna hate me, but shes used to me doing stupid things like stripping the truck in the back yard :)

Thank you again !!

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to change, however, as an example to change the setting to keep the fog lights on with the highbeams....

Select Car configuration change from the top dropdown.
Then in the Options dropdown that appears, select CBC Features: Front Fot Lamp Dropout Enabled
Then in the Value dropdown that appears, select Yes
Then press the Start button

Different options have slightly different steps, but from everything I've modified to date, steps have always been very similar. Granted, I've only made changes to 5 vehicles, so definitely not an expert.
Should the value in the dropdown menu not be set to 'NO' since you do not want the foglight dropout active? When I select 'YES' and then click 'START' I receive the message that I've chosen a setting that is already active on the vehicle and no changes were made.

Correct. You do NOT want the fog lights to drop out, so you’ll set it to “NO”.

Might I suggest, if you don't already have it, while you've got the door connectors apart, cause they're a huge PITA... At least run the wiring for the passive entry door handles, or just do the whole job, it's a really nice upgrade to have and not terribly expensive to do. You'll be saving yourself a good bit of time if you do it while the doors are already taken apart.

I did have the doors completely stripped a few weeks ago and considered passive entry, but honesly I have Rhino'd my whole truck and we debated if passive entry would still work or not. Opted to not take the chance and skip that addition.

Also, passive entry annoys the heck out of me ... My wife's Jeep has it and she constantly forgets to unlock the passanger door. I will be standing outside the Jeep tapping the window in -10. The truck on the other hand, I hit the key anyways to let myself in so second press and happy wife = happy life

The ram seems to work differently, when I put my hand on the handle, it senses my fingers on the inside of the handle and unlocks all doors at once.

Can't you change the setting so that passive entry unlocks all doors at once? I know that's how I have both my Ram and my wife's Durango set. I would assume Jeep allows for the same.

Oh this just makes me angrier that she makes me stand outside in the cold if that is the case

Curious if there is a setting in AlfaOBD so that when I click the unlock on my remote that the headlights flash and not the parking lights? I tried searching through the program but did not see anything that may work.

On my 2020 2500 this setting is tied to the key fob settings. If I enable one press unlocks all doors, then the passive entry system unlocks all four doors as well. If I set it so one press of the fob only unlocks the driver door, then the passive entry system follows suit.

Is that for the Jeep that Wpg_Ram was referring to? If so, then it indeed confirms it is an option on the Jeep as well.
Yeah, so my wife has been poking throught all the settings that she could find on her 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo 4x4 and she could find changing the door unlock all with the keyfob, but with the passive entry it only unlocks the door that she is standing infront of and she could not find anything to change it to all ... By that I mean, if she walks up to the passenger side, she can passive entry unlock the passenger side, if she walks up to the driver side she can unlock the driver, if she uses the keyfob it unlocks all doors ... Now I will say that we do not have the lowest trim but also nowhere near the fanciest of them all, so perhaps the changability is trim level dependent? She has the smallest touch screen in all the jeeps and it is nicer than the 5" that came in my 19 2500 with the touch screen, but when we had a rental 2020 Jeep with the bigger screen it had way more options you could mess with
