AlfaOBD

You have to swap the pins on both light connections. The polarity is reversed for the LED fog lights.

I thought I saw that somewhere but wasnt sure! Thank you, was hoping to get it done before work tonight but not looking like it now.

Yeah, I learned from ignoring that too. Took about 3 minutes per side. But I have swapped pins a bunch of times.

CBC Features: LED Front Fog Lamps Present.
Like mentioned above, you need to swap the wires at the fog light connectors.
Thank Jimmy, I also wanted to ask I replied to one of your posts a few days ago, If I want to make my LED reflector lights have the signature lights as the DRL you mentioned unpinning and repinning. Is it the wires in the harness that plugs into the BCM? I would like to be able to turn off all forward facing lights as easily as possible.

I’ve since had a chance to try that, and it doesn’t work- the settings for optional DRL don’t seem to work on 2019+ BCMs. Only way is to disable the signature lighting setting.

Well that’s no bueno. I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t make it to where you couldn’t turn all lights off from the switch or radio.

They could have at least set them to shut off when you are in park. That is how some other OEMs do it.

I agree. @Jimmy07 is it somehow possible to isolate the wiring for the signature light itself? Or is it part of something bigger? I wouldn’t mind an aftermarket switch tucked under the dash for these rare occasions.

You could put a switch and relay on the signature lamp wires to toggle them on and off. I would use a 5 pin relay with a resistor so when they are switched off, there will be resistance to avoid having any lamp out messages on the EVIC.

Hmm, would probably help if I wasn’t inept when it comes to electrical stuff like that or wiring.
Any ideas where would a good place to wire in that switch? I would assume both lights are tethered to one wire at some point in their harness.

I may have missed this one, but does anyone know if this works? I would love an OEM transfer control from my aux tank.

Just got done doing the TPMS, tire size, and gear status. All looks good so far.

I noticed a vehicle config 1: performance pages, is this something for the HD's? To scared to mess with anything that doesn't have a sticky lol

AFAIK, Performance pages will only work on 2021+ HD

So I've been trying to add things like Trailer light check & offroad pages to my 2019, but the BCM firmware in my truck is too old and doesn't seem to support these new features. Anyone have any ideas (other than the dealer) where I might be able to get my BCM firmware updated? I see infotainment offers replacement BCM's with what they claim to be "The latest and greatest firmware" so they must have the ability to bench flash them, however when I reached out to get more information they didn't respond to my email.

Hi...I wanted to enaable led lows high and cargos lights...went to hook up bypass to use alfa..could not find the white block..only green? two greens..took a chance a only plugged into green...leaving the plug for white block out...all changes took...did I get lucky..or is white not not needed?

Only the one is needed for certain changes. There should be two junction blocks- one is green with a black base, and the other is green with a white base. The connectors for both blocks are identical, but they are two separate canbus systems. If you got the kaodtech bypass, it is usually labeled with sleeves on each set of connector wires- green and black sleeves for the one that plugs into the green block with black base, and green and white sleeves for the one that plugs into the green block with white base.

I am trying to use my older bypass I use on 19 classic 1500 ram...white plug and green plug...

Then you would snap off the key way on the green plug, and plug it into the green block with white base. The white connector gets plugged into the green block with black base.
