Adding adaptive cruise

@Jimmy07 - DASM / wiTECH issue assistance. Have a 2022 Limited 2500 with a new DASM. Plugged in wiTech to find the DASM module red, telling us "Could not get the part number because the ECU is unresponsive. Click the try again button to attempt to establish communication." Checked connections, tested continuity on the new hardness over to the door jamb and all appears good. Took the DASM over to my working 2022 Larime which I did earlier in this post and plugged it in. I could then see the DASM in my Larime and I could see the VIN of the Limited in the DASM so I know it has communicated with the bus at some point I would think. I have gone through all documents in the wiTech page related to the ECU comm error and found no resolve. When I return it back to the Limited truck, wiTech has it red and can't communicate. Any ideas?
If it works in one truck but not the other, it can only be three things:
No power, no ground, or no canbus communication going to the dasm.

That was my thought, I found it odd, however, that the new DASM has the Limited truck's VIN in it. I would think that means the truck is somehow communicating with it, no? I did a continuity test of the wire harness from the DASM connection to the door pillar connection and all had continuity. Any other thoughts on how to run this down?

Is P/T Chassis Net: ACC/DASM Adaptive Cruise Control/Driver Assistance Module set to Enabled in alfaobd?

First post on this forum. Excellent information on here to get this done. Installed equipment for ACC and LKA with exception to existing torque overlay on 2022 Ram 2500 Limited 6.7 diesel. Alfa OBD settings used from original Jimmy07 20's post. Made the 10 hour roundtrip drive a week ago to get Witech alignment assistance from TXJosh (very thankful for all of his insight and help in this process, cannot thank him enough) but was unable to gain access into the DASM. I did a ton of research and was able to get it all successfully working last night after clearing NOX sensor DTC. I do not have a Witech setup but used a Thinkcar 689BT bi-directional scanner with supplied pigtail extension and high speed Cat 5 cable along with an AutoAuth account for SGW access to do the alignment process. Module access was only granted while engine was running. After successful alignment was done, had issues with clearing the DASM code. Cleared it with engine off, accessory on (had to do that a few times though). Everything works as it should now.

OK after about 3 or four years now, since I started installing a new windshield with used DASM but running into the configuration mismatch that a few others were reporting, I had pretty much decided this was a failed project. Then about a month back I read where someone found that "Electric Power Steering CSM Present" once enabled fixed their cofig issue. I immediately ran out and enabled this on my truck, I now have working ACC! After successfully getting ACC working I now had a Service Power Steering Error, after confirming with Jimmy07 that for some reason my used DASM was apparently looking for the steering gear with Tourqe Overlay, I decided to expand this project by changing out the steering gear for one with the Tourqe Overlay. After initially getting one that didn't survive shipping from Tasca Auto Parts I received a second one, which also came slightly damaged during shipping. I decided to go with it. Success! I now have Lane Sence as well as ACC. Big thank you to Jimmy07 and everyone else that has helped with this project over the last few years.
Might have been cheaper to just get a new truck with all these features, but not as much fun!
