AC in my 21 seems pretty good. Pretty interesting how much these thing varies coming from the same production line using the same parts. Center left vent with 82F ambient temperature.

Interesting. My fan on the two highest settings blows like a hurricane. So noisy that talking is not really possible. But it does not blow cold enough to accomplish the job once it is hot outside. Here in Oregon I used to think it did not matter as we usually got maybe 6 days a year at 100 degrees or above and maybe another 10 or 12 in the 90's. Last year was much hotter but my old truck did well with the A/C. We have had 6 days of 100+ temps in the last 10 days and probably over 20 in the last two months. Every other day except maybe 5 or 6 since the beginning of June or earlier has been over 90 so the new truck has more work to do than the old. I just ordered a digital probe thermometer to see what the actual temps are in the vents to determine if I have a legitimate problem.Summertime here is California is consistently at or above 100 degrees. My ‘21 2500 does pretty good with the A/C. My only complaint is that the fan speed doesn’t go high enough for the rear passengers. The air coming out of the vents is plenty cold, just not a lot of volume.

I didn't know I even had vents in the rear of my CC. But sure enough the build sheet says "Front/Rear Climate Control Outlets".Just to clarify, the air volume from the dash vents is fine. It’s the rear vents that I was talking about being a bit weak.
Thanks! That is interesting although a bit difficult to follow all the way through. I wonder if that could be it as I feel the A/C is not blowing cool enough. But my wife in the passenger seat says it is plenty cool. I thought it was just our different perceptions but maybe not. My probe thermometer is due to arrive tomorrow and I will get all the vent temps and see.2021 AC issues:

I think if you set up the fan to blow on "face" only it will blow stronger in the back.Summertime here is California is consistently at or above 100 degrees. Possibility, but I just got my 3500 back from having the TSB done and the carpet on the passenger side is quite damp to the touch a week later. Oh, and the truck is dripping coolant every 18 seconds (hasn't been started for 30 hours). I posted about it in the AC Fix TSB (Pre 8/20 build trucks) thread. So far everyone that’s had the tsb done says the same about the coolant smell. It goes away after a bit.

I just set mine @ 68F autoWhen people are checking their vent temperature what settings are they using? Just "max A/C"?
Best A/C upgrade.
