6.4L towing MPG?

Can you find where it says not to use cruise when towing gas?
It was years ago on some online ram forum guy was just saying if he had a diesel instead of the hemi he could use cruise control now that I'm trying to remember the exact post I believe he said in hilly terrain. It seems to me to not use at all when towing. Because even on a hwy that looks flat it's really not. That's all.

With that much towing in your future, the diesel is smart for peace of mind under load.

Just click it into tow/haul and let the truck do the work.
Someone told me not to use tow/haul on the freeway or highway when you don't have stop for lights or anything on the 2022 1500 gas Tow/haul kept the transmission from shifting to 8th where I would get better mileage. I don't know I just started towing a couple of years ago and there's a lot misinformation out there.

I use cruise and tow/haul in the most mountainous state…the truck spends plenty of time in 8th, when it goes up hill it comes down eventually. It will downshift on up-grades, sometimes aggressively and I let it. It’s just as quick to upshift upon cresting.
Yeah, sometimes a highway looks flat to me but the truck knows it isn’t. They have this trans pretty dialed in imo.
Oh..I have the Hemi.

I've had a 2015 and now this 2023 both Hemis and tow 14k regularly, always used cruise and half the time forget to hit tow haul button, zero issues.

Definitely not correct. Youre good to use it on the highway.... Rest assured you won't hurt anything.

I just use Tow/Haul in/around town... on the highway I turn it off and if needed just lock out 8th gear if it hunts back/forth
