Haven't been on an incline with wet grass in 30 years. Haven't been stuck in 30 years either. Probably more than 30 years. Besides, always a guy with a Ford that is anxious to pull you out and make a show of it. LOL. Regardless, looks like I will be buying a 4WD.
On the Canadian build site, that chart does not exist. Maybe a mistake on Ram's marketing since the 2026 info is relatively new and their website keeps changing. RWD doesn't show as a choice for Laramie, Limited or Longhorn models. Lower models DO show RWD as a choice. Won't be ordering, if I order at all, until spring,

I added screenshots to my post #8. Not a huge deal but I don't have any way of raising my fifth wheel which is aready nose high with my current truck which is RWD. At least not without major suspension surgery. Maybe a Canadian thing. LOL
Yes, My 2021 has the rear air and the new one will as well. Interesting that the rear is almost a half inch lower for 2026.
I provided the dealership with the window sticker of my current truck which is RWD. He gave a pricing sheet for a 4X4 optioned identical . However, it will be a while before I actually put in an order and things might change. If only a 4X4 is available it is not the end of the world, especially if the rear is a half inch lower than the 2021 MY.
I don't trust the 2019 to 2021 engines. Too many issues. Cummins had a good design and decided to mess it up. Time for a change and since I am 78 years old, I might as well spend my kids inheritance. LOL
Mine is the same age as yours. I only have 26K on mine but I do pull a heavy fifth wheel. I put around 6K a year on it and almost 70 percent is towing miles. Apart from a bunch of recalls, the truck has been trouble free and runs and sounds great. However a recent oil analysis gives me pause and I think it is time to move on.Well, good for you young man!
I watch all of these "ticking" lifter and pushrod threads and it does give me concern. I'd be lying if I said I've not considered a new truck with the 8 speed.
My worry is I don't drive my truck enough for these issues to surface. I only have 31k miles on it after almost 5 years (she'll be 5 years old in March).
That being said, mine has been absolutely trouble free, literally 0 issues. *knocks on wood.
