Just an update on my experience with the new truck purchased April 2nd. Currently have 2,263 miles on my 25 3500 CC DRW LB Laramie, started thinking about oil filters. Called dealership parts dept. They are unable to order filters for at least 45 days per the system. Called Ram customer care, they can only expedite orders from dealership. Spoke to Manager, they stated the part is not available at my dealer or any other dealer and there is no action they can take at this time. Guess we have to wait and see when we can get the filters. As far as driving, I have towed 13k gooseneck 5th wheel rv for approx 1,000 miles and since making sure all the fuses were seated in the engine compartment I have had no fault codes. Pulled like a mule and shifts are smooth. I did find the tire fill assist feature where I was able to adjust the pressure settings. They were maxed out, and after adjusting them to 80 front and 65 rear I no longer recieved the tire fill warning. Truck was worth the wait!

My truck arrived at the dealership today. It looks absolutely like crap! It’s a shame Ram would allow a brand new custom ordered truck to arrive like this. It is full of sand including on the inside! All of the trim and plastic is faded out into that ugly whitish black color. The truck looks like it is 10 years old already. What a joke!

Wow. I didn't accept my ordered truck with 5k in damages. 22k...Holy $#!+. I also wasn't inclined to wait another 3-5 months for a truck. Found one local that had all my must haves and just didn't have the Good Year tires.
did they replace this? it almost looks like they cleaned it with a chemical and caused the premature fading

I think you're on the right track. I think it's something to do with the bedliner. All bedliner trucks from this dealer have it. Non-bedliners all don't. You can clearly see wipe marks in this photo:

I think you're on the right track. I think it's something to do with the bedliner. All bedliner trucks from this dealer have it. Non-bedliners all don't. You can clearly see wipe marks in this photo:

All of these pics are from the same dealership. My best guess is there's a residue from the bed liner that's causing this.

interesting, I wonder if the dealers are going to replace them if they all look like butt on delivery.

It is something that I am going to look out for when mine finally arrives.
 
Mine showed up with the bed looking bad as it had rail dust, as soon as it was washed it all but disappeared.
 
Mine has the factory bedliner and the plastics on the bed look fine.
 
My delivery date is all over the calendar. It has now gone from July 8th to June 3rd. It doesn’t mean much but interesting to watch. I wonder if it made a train sooner than expected?

Who’s the member that can look up VINs on the dealer network to see shipping statuses? I’d be interested to see if yours caught a ride earlier than expected too.

I wish I knew. I would more information than what I get on the Ram Owner’s site.
 
Put in an order for a megacab laramie on 12/31, received it today. Other than filthy the truck came with damage to the front bumper and grill, had to put in another order.
How bad was the damage? It wasn’t repairable?

It is repairable but needs a new bumper and paint on it, aswell as new grill, the amount of things that need to get taken apart on the front end for the grill to come out is insane. I’m not paying 95k for a truck that had to get taken apart before even reaching my hands.

Got it. I will look Monday. I can’t tell you where it is. I can only see where it is in building status and when it ships. Mine shipped over a month ago and unloaded from the train April 3rd. Still don’t have it because stellantis put a damage hold for repairs on it. Very disappointed right now and nobody has any info. Mid-western car carriers are who transports. They are on fb and will respond to questions. They are the ones who told me mine was on hold for repairs but no info beyond that.

Thanks, the Ram Truck Owner’s site shows my truck shipped on April 19th. Since then the delivery date has changed 4 times so I am wonder what is going on.
