2024 Order Tracking & Discussion

Man all these orders getting built so fast! I’m hoping my 3500 DRW is just as fast as y’all’s. I chose patriot blue, hopefully it doesn’t set me back lol.

Just FYI, the RAM website has been updated with the new MSRP's

@LegendaryLawman Apologies if this is obvious, but in your second paragraph you mentioned that Dealers have the new pricing. Did the MSRP change for the HD trucks? Makes it sound like MSRP went down?

It really depends on the exact truck. Somehow a Laramie with level 1 is more expensive than the higher level b package- lol

But the repricing is not as good as the 10% rebate. If you ordered prior to the 6th you will still get the rebate instead.

I didn’t know they are dropping the price of all trucks still on dealer lots prior to 3/5. That’s an interesting one but it make sense and **maybe** illegal or they are asking for a class action lawsuit if they don’t. Oddly enough, it’s gonna be a rough transition.

my order was 3/5, still no updates all TBD. Likely it’s the mega cab or being pearl white in betting

Yeah, I would have loved 14.5" but not if they still nerf Android Auto to 8" max!

But anyway, the 68RFE has 6th gear ratio 0.62:1 with the 3.73, and my F150 10th gear ratio is 0.63:1 with a 3.73. I figured with a smidge more wind and rolling resistance my commutes will only be a few MPG worse. I'm not sure the final 8th gear would be much better on the new transmission. It's likely just more efficient in city start/stop and acceleration not at Hwy speeds.

BTW, I've advanced. If @brv10 can assure me it's just waiting for a train, that would be awesome! 3C63R3FL6RG274339
If I didn't answer you already, yes, waiting on a train, JSLD on 3/6

Br - newer order but I’m still showing tbd on everything…

You see anything on the backend?

Ok, now 3 days since built, wondering if I caught a train or a delivery estimate yet (I need to book a flight once the date is visible, with some padding) and the external tracker may be lagging.

JSLD as of 3/6,still in Mexico, no train yet.

I stopped by the dealership today to see if they had any more information about a delivery date. My salesman told me that the only thing his system shows that the truck is scheduled to arrive at Davisville Port in Rhode Island on April 19. He also told me that things could change for the better or worse. Lol.

Anyone here that got their truck remember when their window sticker became valid? I was thinking it would be "built" status + maybe 1 day, but it isn't valid yet. Normally it isn't that important but I'm really curious to see how it was invoiced with the new pricing, versus my original build sheet! I know the base and packages were reduced but not sure if any single line item add-ons were reduced with it.

I dont believe the add-ons changed at all. It was just the base MSRP and some of the required packages (ie. Laramie level 1 or level b). To my understanding its not officially invoiced till it hits the dealers lot since thats when they bill the dealer for it. If the truck sits on the lot, they pay interest on the vehicle or if you dont pick it up after X days, it starts costing the dealer money in interest. Based on that, the invoice probably doesn't become effective till its delivered to the dealers location. I'm not 100% sure, maybe someone else can confirm that or have a solid answer.

Fingers crossed that our Built trucks make it onto this boat.

@brv10 can you please check 3C63RRMLXRG283776 for me when you have a chance? It shows scheduled already since the 8th but hasn't updated since then. Trying to see if there is anything I can't see to try and organize what I will do better with my current '22.

The window sticker becomes available when the truck passes inspection, that's also when the dealer is invoiced for the truck.
Interesting! Is that an inspection in mexico or at the destination dealership? I'm guessing dealership to inspect for transit damage?

Interestingly enough my window sticker was available about 1 day after showing as built. What's also interesting is that the window sticker, if correct, appears to have the new pricing as it's -$9k cheaper than when ordered. However if I go on to Ram's website and build a truck the amounts do not tie to what is on my window sticker so at least one of them is incorrect. I locked in my 10% rebate so I hope I'll get the 10% off the new price.
