2022 Ram Tow/Trailer Camera Options

OK folks, got the new truck and thought the plugs would be blanks or dummies, I crawled under the truck today and there are wires running to them as well. Is it possible the truck is "ready" to activate these many camera features?
That's just the C-Shaped bracket, that holds camera...it's at the top-right if that photo.

The long camera cable connects to a new connector in the bumper, to left of the license plate. View attachment 27438The connector came with my truck, presumably because I because I ordered this camera option.
Do you know the part number for this part

Guys. I finally found the infamous 68586112AA kit and installed it. Everything worked flawlessly except my image is mirrored. What supposed to be left side is showing on the right side in my mirror. How do I fix this? @Jimmy07

Any chance you installed the camera upside down?

Nevermind. I installed it on my fifth wheel and the orientation is correct. I like being able to see behind my trailer when towing. Its also a high resolution camera.

Below is a link to my Amazon photo album entitled "2024.04 - RAM TSVCS" (I installed the TSVCS in 04/24). It includes photos of my wiring runs for each camera as well as a bunch of photos & a video working thru the various issues I had using AlfaOBD to activate the TSVCM setting in my truck. I couldn't have done it without the great help I got from members on this forum including @Jimmy07 and @CortexM0.
Now that you've got all the cameras hooked up what do you think of the performance? Has it been helpful when parking or driving through trees with low hanging branches? TIA

My camera came in today. Did a quick test hook up on the truck and it worked as advertised.

Excited to get it all mounted up to the trailer. Should get it done sometime this weekend. Will be nice being able to see behind everything while driving cross country again.

I use the TSVCS when maneuvering in tight spaces which is frequently since my RV storage pad at my house has lots of trees, low hanging branches & a narrow access road. It's also helpful when backing into an RV site. I also have the trailer tow mode camera which I find essential while driving. I love being able to look at my digital rear view mirror & see what's behind the trailer instead of what's behind the truck.

The way it stands, ONLY the trailer surround view can be used on that trailer harness in the kit, no aux at all. That’s not to say the trailer harness can’t me modified to support both. If it can be figured out how to add pins to the 12-way (or I believe there’s a company that can custom build the 12-way), you can cut the harness and add sealed connection points for both trailer surround and an aux camera. Is the harness solid continuous from the 12-way bumper connector to the 12-way trailer CVPM connector?

We've actually developed our own 12-way adaptor and have just started marketing a wireless camera kit that will work for both Ram and Ford, we just incorporated both pinouts in one connector....one size fits all!

Same, 40’ limits some of the major applications. I may have to roll with the Furrion set up with side mounted cameras too.

Thanks, Cody. I have a 2022 RAM and thier single wired camera system. It's just enough length to run it to the back of the 37' fiver. I would hate to add an extra screen to my system when my rearview mirror already does it, and I won't go without it either. When I get a new trailer, I'll be coming to you for a wireless system that integrates with my built-in display (mirror).

Thanks again.

Not a problem Evan, do you have the 8" or 12" display?

not 100% sure what is allowed, lol....i forget these things. But if you type my user name and remove the 84, add cameras....you'll go right to our website. call the 800 number and ask for Cody :)
What is the item number?

I have the 12". How would that matter for your kit? From what I saw, it is plugging into the port that leads to my digital rearview mirror.

But now that I look at it closer, I don't see an example in your images that goes to the camera port on the bumper. That is what I would be looking for.
