2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My dealer has had multiple short beds in stock for quite a while but they have a 10k market adjustment on them
I looked around my area and I am seeing the same, many higher optioned (Limited, larime...) sitting on dealer lots.

So, my truck is finally arriving in San Antonio tomorrow. Trying to get dealership to pick it up from 26 miles away. After waiting 184 days in a corner somewhere. Hope they make an effort to pick it up.

I’m happy for you but it makes no sense. They really must be shipping randomly. Mine was built a couple weeks before yours and still hasn’t shipped. It’s also a DRW like yours.
Different route, rail or trucking?

Does seem random and a lot of luck. I think it has a lot to do with whether A train happens to be at the plant when your truck rolls off the assembly line plus how many train cars are available for the part of the country you’re in or if you’re going by boat etc. but mostly luck.

Have you heard anything yet? Mine has been built since 9/2. Hasn’t left mexico yet. This is frustrating! Some communication would be greatly appreciats

Do they have around the same mileage? I am thinking $47K is but still trying to get a baselinw
No mine was a base bighorn with 63000. I sold it to dealer for 39 in 2016. Yours will probably fetch 60 now. Put it in craigslist and autotrader. Watch out for scammers

Could be like their system for painting the trucks, they need at least 10 of the same color in a row to run them down the line together to make it efficient.

is this somthing that you negociated into your deal, or somthing provided by ram on their own due to your long wait times?
This was something that I asked Ram Customer Care for after the sale. Not only did they do the extended warranty. Now i also have 8 free oil changes that is good at any dealer, over the next 4 years.

I'll be doggone if RAM is not being very generous with people of late orders. Got this today as well.

My truck is going to Mark Dodge. For how many trucks they order you’d think there would be more than a few spots available on the train.

All the trucks leave and head to Eagle pass in TX to clear customs. They then all go to SAIT (San Antonio rail yard) for the trains to be built for the area of the country they are headed to.

If the train is available, the problem they have had in the last year is too many trucks going that way for rail or the yard to handle.

I have seen 3 routes out of Mexico not counting the ones that go to Altamira to go on a ship.

Ordered April 13:

My truck arrived at the Lawrenceville , GA CSX rail yard on Monday am.

No one there at the yard, Virginia Transport Corp, RAM, my dealer or Mike @ Stellantis (who doesn’t respond) can tell me when it will be delivered to my dealer which is 24 miles away from the yard.

RAM put a priority on it and I personally logged a Hot Priority Tag on it with Virginia Transport posing as the dealer.

It’s been sitting there all week. So ridiculous!!! My dealer said as far as they can tell, it’s still sitting on the rail car & hasn’t been offloaded yet.

I dont mean to laugh or say I told you so. I hate it for you and 100% know the frustration. If it helps at all mine sat there for 10 days before it showed up.

As soon as I posted that, I said to my wife - you know “Cxxx”’s truck sat at the same yard for over a week. I knew you’d get me!!!! LMAO
I'll be in Atlanta this weekend if you need something moved. Email me the VIN and ill see if I can pull the same crap I did with mine.
