2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I

was a mechanic for dodge jeep dealer and we got paid 1.5 hrs for pre delivery inspection then it goes to detail for clean up, so unless they are selling vehicles like crazy 2 days after drop you should be able to take delivery
Mine was delivered to the dealership this past Friday at 0800. I picked it up that same day. The mechanics did their inspection then the detail team cleaned it up. They topped off the DEF and the fuel before delivery. Unless they find any defects, should only take a few hours. JMHO

They are required to hook a pod up to it and do a scan with the modules awake.
I figured there was some system checks and then switching it from demo/dealer/travel mode (not sure what it’s called). Three days seemed a bit long and I started to worry that maybe there was some sort of damage from the rail yard. I completely forgot to ask for pictures because I initially was expecting to pick it up Saturday.

I also wanted to thank you for the help you provided in my build/shipping and the continued information you have provided me as well as others on the thread. I feel like I have learned a lot through this process from you and others who have posted.

@OfficerDirtySanchez please mark #1404 delivered.

Ordered 3/19, delivered 10/17.

Many thanks to those on here that kept me sane the last several months, and especially those that provide the information on this thread that makes it what it is

Per my sales guy; the regular PPI tech is out today, so it won't be ready before CoB today. My sales guy is off Tuesdays, so I will be signing papers Wednesday afternoon

How far is your dealership from the rail yard? My dealership is less 10 miles from the yard here in Utah

its roughly 2 hours. But it was unloaded Wednesday of last week. I guess the Atlanta mixing yard is busy busy.
I called the dealer today. and they said they want it here ASAP, they already have my trade in sold. So what i heard is, we aint screwing with your deal.

Finally back and should be getting it this week.

I'm trying to find the guide for the buyer checklist before signing off on the vehicle. Can someone help point me in the right direction? I just want to make sure I don't shoot myself in the foot for this last step. (Found it)

New truck at the dealer!!

Serious 2022 question. How many of you with the U Connect system plan on using the U connect app for remote functions like remote start and vehicle tracking?

I don't see the value in paying the monthly fee for what it offers for me personally. Just wait until power windows are subscription based and you have to pay the monthly fee, lol!

Worked it into my deal. Dealer paying for as long as XM trial is. I think he told me 6 mos.
