In the Vin thread, I do a weekly update, I used Equipment listing to keep track of build counts. as of the last update from the vins that have been shared, we are only 69 units from completion. I will be working on this week's update shortlyVery cool, that means there is a lot more progress on the trucks in the spreadsheet than I was interpreting.
there was an issue, and a post that was shared a while back of 21k units waiting for shipment, what was deduced collectively is that either production ramped up or transportation had a bottleneck and vehicles went to a separate storage yard and they were not FIFO(First In First Out) they were FILO (First In Last Out). while at the same time a while later there were vehicles leaving the factory straight to transportation.Ordered my limited dually feb 24th been built since may 3rd just waiting for shipping. Been watching these threads seeing how so many others are in the same boat
I thought they were done or close to being done with the April and May orders being released, sort of sad that is not the case yet. There have been many similar cases if you go back to that timeframe on this thread. While not the news you probably expected, it is what was witnessed, shared, and observed by the collective hive/mind
The tracker as we learn and understand its nuances, ar weird and a bit funky. Here is what we have come to the conclusion of, the delivery date is the date scheduled for the completion of the state you currently find yourself in.Mine had a date in there for about 24 hours while it was in production. Once the truck was built, it disappeared. I could use the inspect function and still see it in there. My truck was built around June 26th, the est delivery date was July 29th. Truck actually shipped somewhere around July 26th, hit port Allen around the end of July and hit the dealer lot on Aug 6th. So in my case, that est delivery date was more like an estimated ship date.
for D1/Scheduled for example delivery date is the date expected to enter into production
In Production the delivery date is the date expected to be built (quality control and after outside vendors)
In Built the delivery date is the date expected to be ship (train ticket)
In Shipped the delivery date is the date expected to be delivered to the dealer.
Hope that helps and answers some of the questions posed.
