2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Hey guys and gals, just joined the forum in anticipation of my first MOPAR vehicle, and my 1st HD truck.

Short of reading thru 36k posts on this thread; whats the average time trucks are waiting down at the Mexico plant after they're built, before they get on a train? My 2500 has been waiting since 6/23 (7 weeks) for a ride. It's getting harder and harder to be patient knowing that its built and just baking in the Mexican sun.

Thanks

There is no "right" answer but to give you context mine was ordered 2/4 built 5/19 and sat in mexico for 2 months and has been stuck in shipping ever since. I would estimate 6-9 month wait total. WAY longer if the railroad strike happens.

Mine has been sitting in Mexico since 6/13. Which direction is yours going?

My truck scanned in at 4:04 a.m. this morning in New Orleans, LA. Whats the train/rail/car hauler method/journey from Nola to me, here, north of Atlanta? My ETA still says 8/25 (2 weeks from today).
VIN?

There is unfortunately no good answer. Some went months waiting. Mine rolled out the factory and onto a train. It seems newer orders aren't waiting as long.

So, after five months, our truck finally arrived to the dealership- damaged. Front bumper is rubbed and has paint transfer. Back bumper is *uck*d and received quite a knock. Dealership has to order both and replace. According to them, approximately 1/3 of shipments have screwed up bumpers.

Well, MD being the great dealer they are, Angelo went out and did one better. Instead of sending me pics of the truck, he went out and shot a 2:33 video of the whole truck, inside and out with the engine running. I’d post it, but it’s over 48mb and it’s too big. If one of you techno wizards know something, pass it on

True, at least that many

I was 57 days after being built and before it shipped. Mostly in JB vendor status.
