2022 Power Wagon Diesel - unconfirmed rumor

More cost effective?

I similarly equipped Cummins Laramie comes in at basically the same price as a PW. Now add all the PW or aftermarket bits. None of that will be covered under warranty. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you'll be doing all the labor yourself and that your time is cheap :p

I don't think you can get the 4.10 in the cummins or the 8 speed trans either.

It would be a sweet ass truck for sure, but definitely not more cost effective.
My 2020 RAM 3500 Cummins has the 4.10.

That’s why god gave us the ignore feature. Lol.

Honestly tho, I have no issue with him. I just don’t want to argue about 4x4s because I own and love many makes and models and the argument can go for eternity
The only reason I own a RAM is because of the Cummins. If I decide I do not need or desire the diesel any longer, I'll shop all brands.

I thought we were comparing off road capabilities, not sales numbers?

Only brought that up because of the comments about folks cross shopping "off road" focused trucks.

You act like this in nearly every thread I see you reply in.

I bet you’re real fun at parties…

Do I know you? Good to know i have a secret admirer...

Ignore feature? El oh El. Most forums only put those in place for Hillary voters who cant stand someone else's point of view.

I havent been disrespectful to any individual.. only offered a different idea.. nothing more, nothing less.

It's a discussion gents... Why is everyone so upset over a differing opinion? Im not a brand loyalist. Anyone should be able to see that all of the brands have different vehicles that are great at different things.

Buy a truck and build it the way you want. There is your 4x4. Almost any platform can be built better than a stock offering of the same platform. Having said that, I still would love a diesel package with a winch and lockers no matter what the heck they wanna call it.

You can get most of that in a Tremor. But you have to check the options box for the winch. And you have to buy and install your own front E locker. And it will rattle your teeth as per reviews on Youtube.

Gimme,
Yes its a discussion thread. But you sure thru in a few non trucks into the discussion.

Then you threw in some non HD's, which the topic was about. :D

anyone know the price of the diesel for 2022 PW? by that the diesel interior option - LOL

You haven’t offended me, man. Capability is all in the eye of the beholder. Hell, if we don’t get some gasoline deliveries down here a Tesla might be able to go more places than me.

I sort of looked at the Tremor. I always end up replacing stock suspension anyway, I didn't care for the Ford though.

It's all good.. just having some spirited conversation

100% agree! That was my exact point. Capability can be a subjective term and often times more opinion than anything else.

We should discuss less volatile subjects like guns, hitches, or RV tires.

Got details of Power Wagon Level 3 from dealer. Basically 75th Anniversary Edition minus some items.

Ventilated Front Seats (CAJ)
just noticed this feature, is this new to 2022? do not see it listed for 2021 models on the ram site

Been watching a few videos on youtube of heads up side by side comparisons of 3/4 trucks.
The PW did better in all test except towing weight and MPG. But the other trucks were diesels. But the PW had the best off road ride.
There was also a video of a few PW running the trails in Moab along with jeeps and jeep trucks. Didnt see any issues with the PWs making it thru the rough trails.

This would be the dream. I don't ever envision myself trying to take my CCLB into some extreme off-roading areas (thats why I have UTV's or Jeeps) but having those features in a full-size HD truck would be great.

Like I posted earlier, that would be the Ford Tremor with the optional winch and the you can install a front E locker.
Or the jeep Gladiator truck and install a front bumper and winch. But it's a small truck with a even smaller bed.
