2022. Sub beats like a drum for 1000 miles now for no reason at all. Told them to disable the noise canceling tomorrow until they can figure something out. Has been annoying first 1000 miles.

Do you have the alpine or premium sound system?
Seems to be Harman Kardon issue.

I don't run the show here but throwing this in Interior is a travesty.
It sounds like a rattling booming noise from the suspension or exhaust and is hard to figure out. I still don't know if this is exactly the problem.
More attention is needed to this issue than hiding it here. I would never look here if I had this problem. Dumb.

I’m think I’m having the same issue.

After a certain speed the low bass drone kicks in. I’ve been sick and I thought I was hearing things in my clogged up ears and head.

Feel better today and still noticed it.

I’m not hearing things. It’s definitely there. It’s for sure a real thing.

I’ve seen at least one other person comment on this somewhere.

Can it be turned off?

Same here. Though it seems to be getting better the more I drive.

Dealer will turn it off tomorrow. No fix yet.

Let me know if you immediately hear a difference. Not wanting to make another dealer trip so soon. Went in last week for the Uconnect to be told no solutions right now.

Good thing this truck looks cool as hell because that’s about the only thing working for it right now.

I wonder if the polarity is reversed on the subwoofer causing the ANC to amplify the frequencies it's supposed to be canceling out? Not sure if the dealer can invert the polarity to the sub output through the computer, but that would be the easiest way to test it out. Otherwise you have to physically swap wires.

Please elaborate on 'Dealer will turn it off tomorrow'. Turn what off - and how will the dealer do that? I'm curious in case this becomes a problem for me. Thanks!

If it's the ANC being deactivated you could just pull the fuse for it under the hood (ANC) and see if it makes a difference for you.

from the owners manual.

Your vehicle is equipped with an Active Noise Cancellation system that cannot be turned off. This system is designed to address exhaust and engine noise. The system relies on four microphones embedded in the headliner, which monitor exhaust and engine noise, and assists an onboard frequency generator, which creates counteracting sound waves in the audio system’s speakers. This helps keep the vehicle quiet at idle and during drive. The system is deactivated when the windows are rolled down.

You can do it with AlphaOBD.

Owners Manuals are for suckers
