What does constructively placed mean in regards to the railcar reaching its destination?
Crypto stickers says build sheet found on my March 3 order but it shows no info with corresponding vin when I try to open it.First March order from the sheet received an EL.
Your equipment listing populated for me this morning. Your truck is built! Probably window sticker tomorrow or this weekend.Crypto stickers says build sheet found on my March 3 order but it shows no info with corresponding vin when I try to open it.
Thank you!! You’re awesome! I literally squealed when I read that. My wife gave me a look like WTFYour equipment listing populated for me this morning. Your truck is built! Probably window sticker tomorrow or this weekend.
Luckyyyyyy
Unless I am mistaken, the sequence number is the last 8 of the VINThe VON and sequence number are not 1 in the same. I think the sequence numbers are assigned when a vehicle goes D??? Anyone have any other insight?
CorrectUnless I am mistaken, the sequence number is the last 10 of the VIN
oops...I meant 8...lolCorrect
I'm aligned with this theory. So in the US the sequence number and order date are relatively well aligned as the timeline from order to D status is pretty consistent. The VON and sequence number are not 1 in the same. I think the sequence numbers are assigned when a vehicle goes D??? Anyone have any other insight?
Does the VON/sequence number represent when the truck was ordered? IE if someone has a sequence number of NG000001 does that mean it was ordered before NG000000 or are those pretty random?
Not necessarily. Let's say I ordered on 3/1 and you ordered on 3/7, but my dealer was lazy and didn't submit my order right away, and yours was on the ball and sent in your order immediately, you would have a VIN/Sequence number earlier than mine. Typically they are pretty close though. The VON and sequence number are not 1 in the same. I think the sequence numbers are assigned when a vehicle goes D??? Anyone have any other insight?
Correct. Ordered for me means when they push the order to Stellantis. Otherwise, it's not in the system as ordered. That sequence number being the last 8 of the VIN then comes at when I think it goes D. And, like @OfficerDirtySanchez says, it appears Canada orders take longer to get to D. Therefore, they have later sequence numbers for the similarly placed US orders. Not necessarily. You are correct, I was looking at two different spreadsheets and this one referred to the VON as the sequence number. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...jqFtyJfuADQC5i5D7fX4lQqrQ/edit#gid=1884861679The VON and sequence number are not 1 in the same.
