Sorry, I meant to ask you what date your transmission failed , my mistake!
No worries. That date would be December 14th.

Thanks man, sorry for the mix up. Ive been at this for a few hours now. Trying to communicate and pull updates from 85 different trucks (and people) using five different means of communication.
My brain is fried, esecially after a full work day
Yeah you have to take the good with the bad on some of those groups. The ones with good moderators are better. Did you catch a name? (which FB group?)

Good idea. I can add that. You might also collect the replacement serial to track if they are subject to an ongoing failure as well...
10 at one dealer? Sounds like this is MUCH worse than what the spreadsheet reflects. They just got in their 10th Aisin
I have no doubt it is worse than what is reflected on my spreadsheet. I could probably add another 20-30 trucks just in reading YouTube comments today on videos regarding this issue. My sheet only reaches a relatively small percentage of the total ownership of these trucks. I don’t think it would be too much of a stretch to assume there are at least as many that I haven’t talked. Maybe more. I started recording data on this issue 39 days ago and have since accumulated 89 trucks. That’s a little over 2 trucks per day.10 at one dealer? Which metro area?Yes just at my dealer. They have the largest repair center of any dealer in the metro area, so they see more trucks for sure. If we double that for the state (20) and then for 50 states… I’d say the actual number is closer to 1000. So we might have 10-20% of them on the spread sheet. It’s still a relatively low number, yet still alarming.

I'm in that position. And let’s not forget there are still a number of 2022’s just hitting dealer lots. I don’t think this is going away anytime soon. It’s a small number when compared to the grand total, but it’s likely to continue occurring for quite a while I think. Lots of these trucks still sitting in garages waiting to tow boats and campers for the first time this spring & summer.
That's where we'd be had we not bought it from mark dodge and drove it back to California from Louisiana. Wouldn't even know about this failure and would be months from now before we hit the mileage of our failure. And let’s not forget there are still a number of 2022’s just hitting dealer lots. Which dealer.Which metro area?
Which dealer.
Last SA I spoke to 1 week ago ago at ANA said they hadn't seen any. That said, this particular SA I talked to is probably one of the least trustworthy individuals in that dealership.
I’ve never had good luck with the staff at the Arapahoe dealer, couple of friends have had horrible problems with their service department…
I bought my truck from the one on Broadway because the salesman I dealt with is a friend of a friend and helped get me a good deal… their service department is not very knowledgeable to say the least.
My main dealer is Christopher’s in Golden. I’ve bought four trucks there and had lots of work done on them and they’ve always been great, I tried to buy my latest truck there but no one would budge off MSRP at the time…
Two people in the service department are in the know about these transmission issues. I can give you their names if you’d like in a PM…
I do my own maintenance, but obviously need a dealer for recalls and warranty. There are mishaps that are normal pretty much everywhere, but they treat me well and don’t try to feed me any bs.
