You will get used to the steering. The 2500 uses a recirculating ball steering system, as opposed to the rack and pinion you are used to in light trucks and cars. It's not as precise. It has more play that causes the wondering. My previous truck was my first 3/4 ton, and i thought something was wrong with the steering as i was driving it home from the dealer. I had the dealer look at it and they compared it to others on the lot, and mine was no different. My current truck is the same as well, but i am used to it and think nothing of it.
