tried to order 2022 3500 rwd dealer could not order. ram only shows 4wd. anyone know if they discontinued rwd 3500 in 2022 are when they will be availible

I see 2wd as an option for all the trim levels on Rams build page. Not sure why it wouldn’t be orderable….

2wd is great for simplicity-less stuff to break. Great for payload and towing capacity as the truck weighs less. Great option for a dedicated tow vehicle. Had a 2wd Toyota for years. Did great in the snow on city streets with some snow tires and about 500 lbs in the back

2021 build not 2022

Why would anyone order a 2 WD. Ever need something and not have it? Snowed in texas last year didnt it..
have had rwd sense 1996 and have never had a problem and don't go off road. living in ga don't worry about snow. if weather is bad don't drive truck

Sometimes the WX changes after you get there and we dont always get to park at upscale prepped sites. After the lot cleared, we hooked up and easily got the the rig out using 4wd even with the stock tires. 2wd would have required tow straps...

Not a 4x2 problem but I had a dealer tell me today the SO diesel was NOT an option for her dealer configurator - that I could ONLY order a 6.7L HO. Sales tactic?

There might be time period based restrictions in the system depending on what configs they are focused on or something to do with the chip shortage, but RAM is still making all variants.

I call bs also, most lesbians that i know of are far too cheap to buy a subaru, more likely to seen a kia or hyundai.
And back to subject, i drove a 2001 2wd manual equiped 2500 for about 12 years. No real issues and in fact just saw the truck on the road yesterday. Would i buy a 2wd drive again? Maybe, if the price was right.
