It seems to have a little bit of play. I seem to have to correct it way more than I feel like I should. Seems like a couple other people are having the same problem. What do you mean by sloppy?
Seems like there’s a few other people having the same issue. Did you just have it aligned?I had to correct my steering a ton , especially on the highway, and it was in my caster angle, once I corrected that it made a huge difference. Look up thuren specs and get it done. I wouldn’t mess with the adjustment on your steering gear, it can lead to premature wear.
I got it as close to 0 toe as I could with a tape measure and then I adjusted the cams for the caster to the second indicators back from the center position towards the rear of the truck, from factory one was way forward and the other way back. They should be close to the same position.Seems like there’s a few other people having the same issue. Did you just have it aligned?
Based on this post, yes.Really sucks they can’t get this right from factory. Last thing I wanna do is to align my own truck after spending all that money. Should I take it to a reputable tire shop? I’ve never tried to align one of my own vehicles.
Completely different front ends and steering systems. 1500 steering is like car steeringI came from a ram 2019 1500 to a 2021 2500 and it seemed sloppy, put some miles on and get used to it and see
Sloppy steering compared to what?
it’s a straight axle truck a few feet off the ground. I did my own alignment at home as well. Feels great. I feel like the steering is tight for a sold axle rig, but I’m used to solid axle rigs. Compared to my Porsche it feels sloppy, though.

Looks whippable
