2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Checked with Ram Chat and they said it is in shipping with an ETA of June 25th-July 9th. Dealer says around June 29th. I will be very happy with that being at around 60 days from when I placed the order! Hopefully I get a Ram rebate email soon or we get some good July incentives. I guess I better sign up for the True Car thing soon to get the $500 from them.
RE: Truecar just know that the rebate expiers at the end of the month you get it, so if you get in June it will expire on June 30th

I just completed the deal on the truck. Quick and painless. I went over everything with Aaron, he asked if he could mark the price of the truck up $1000, then apply $1000 in coupons to my deal, as it would help him in some way. I was fine with that. An hour later his finance guy called me. 5ish minutes on the phone, no pressure BS and we were done. 2.75% not great, and I can get about half a point better if I shop later. He then sent over a docusign and we were done.

Flights into Lake Charles are tough. Expensive, and layovers are mandatory for me. Aaron is going to deliver it to New Orleans for free where I can get a flight for under $200 and shave 200 miles off my trip home.

All in all, a great buying experience.

2021 Ram 3500 Longhorn Dually Order date - 4/17/21
VON issued - 4/19/21
VIN issued - 4/21/21
Build Date - 5/26/21, Est ship date of 5/27/21
Window Sticker - 6/5/21 - No ship date yet....hopefully Monday. Finally moving after being stalled for a while.
Update: 2 weeks ago, dealer told us that it was built and had shipped out with estimated delivery of 6/12-6/29.
Last Monday - Ram chat gave me new eta of 7/12-7/29 and dealer said it should be there any day.
Today - Ram chat gave me eta of 8/14-8/29 and stated that it was still in Mexico.
Called dealer who confirmed that it had not shipped (they were surprised too) and were given status code of KZLD.
Wish someone knew what's really going on. Not too happy that it may come in August with brand new 2022s. Just wish I knew when!
Have a trip planned for end of July and let my warranty expire on my 2016. What to do?! Really not too concerned with when it comes....just wish the dates would not keep changing so much with no reason given.
I am feeling your pain.

Oh yeah I remember reading that. So if I do it on the 28th, will I still get one that expires June? Do I need to wait until July 1st to sign up and then does it come immediately?

Yes. They send as soon as the email address "clears" i.e. has not been used before.

From what I keep hearing, the trucks just sits in a lot somewhere and there is no rhyme or reason on how these vehicles get scheduled to ship. As of yesterday, I have no ETA and there is a storm moving through the gulf. Instead of transporting by train which only takes 2-3 days, they put it on a ship. This mode of transport involves too many different hand offs which can lead to more chances of damage. 3 months for a truck to ship is ridiculous and I am thinking of canceling my order if it is to be delivered late August - I may as well order a 2022. Hopefully you get your truck soon.

I don,t believe what your saying, the only reason they would sit on a lot is if they are missing something or didn,t pass inspection and are in line for repair or they waiting to fill cars to be shipped by land, maybe by water to east coast or alaska the cost of that is ?, Everything is not normal yet, chip shortage, fires, train wrecks not to mention everyday delays. try ordering accessories and almost anything is backordered, they want you to cancel and will just sell our truck for more and then you can wait another 6 months again for who knows what delays they will have, If you think you will get a 2022 any faster go for it Your choice , For me it will get here whenever its still worth a new truck, People have no patience for nothing these days, its I want it now so give it to me attitude, I,m a contractor and people can,t wait for me to do the job. So I tell them to look elsewhere but everyone is so busy that there is no one elsewhere. It would have been nice for RAM to give us some sort of explaination on the delays instead of some stupid check with your dealer remark , but their like politicians they have no idea how to deal with the public, attitudes like this can only hurt their business

Well, my truck is finally moving North! Mine was waiting to get on a train for over 4 weeks. Estimated ETA to Bud Clary dealership is 06/30-07/14.

I,m just a little futher than you . Ya know if they just used a little bit of know how you would think they would load up a train with trucks that are going in the same direction and not oneing us to death

Nice.

I was starting to question if I screwed up by going mono tone but after seeing yours, I think I made the right choice. Hope to be getting mine this weekend.

Yeah, monotone was a key reason I got the 75th. I like the subtle Power Wagon on the side vs the larger banding on the truck bed of other versions. That plus the headlights and full front center console instead of the jump seat were key drivers. My GTI had the swiveling headlights and I really liked them. These worked great on the drive home last night.

I ordered my 75th in monotone Delmonico Red. Had read on the forum that you could do that, so asked my dealer to see if he could and he did. I didn't order the tri fold cover as they said it would delay the build. Probably going to order a Gator tri fold for the bed. I did order the bed group. And I have a set of AMP power steps sitting in the garage waiting for her to arrive.

My buddy at work has a loaded 1500 limited with basically the same interior as the 75th, but all black seats. I drove it a bit and even took the wife for a ride in it and she liked it. SO I ordered mine.
