2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Well, I believe it safe to say I'm not getting the truck i ordered. The order has been "recloned". I'm told that means its cancelled and resubmitted as the same order.

Can you get a 2022 power wagon 75th anniversary edition? technically as long as its built before Dec 31, 2021 right? but then the trucks built in 2020 are 75th anniversary. I'm waiting for the sales manager to confirm...stay tuned for the next episode of " Will FCA build my truck "

meanwhile, the shop confirmed, the engine in my rebel has the infamous "hemi tick" (the bad one). Only 60,000kms ( 37,000 miles), never towed a thing, and i even doubled up on oil changes. Do i really want another gasser? lol

Well that totally sucks. While the level 3 package does have a lot of the 75th options, it doesn't include a few of them.

I ordered mine 3/19 and they say it shipped 5/12 and it will be at the Portland rail yard 7/12. Where are you located at?
I'm in New York just south of Buffalo. That's a long ship time estimation for your truck. My ETA date changed a few times as I periodically checked with Ram chat. Yours might as well.

Nice truck. Did you get the level 2 or B?

I see that you passed on getting the new Excelsior plates.
Thank you. I ordered it with level B equipment group. I also went with bucket seats and the center console. I liked the console a lot in my '19 half ton so it was a must have in my new hd. Yes I passed on the new plates. It was another fee on top of registration. NYS already got more than their fair share when I paid the sales tax lol.

I had a very sad realization. I was going to order a Magnum rack for my truck, needed to look for some identification that they were asking for when I realized that my Ramboxes look funny. I then looked back and realized that it was missed on the build sheet, and I agreed that everything was as it should be after making one correction removing navigation. I can't put a toolbox in the truck because it would only leave me like 4' of bed. I'll have to put on in for the winter when I dont need the bed space as much, but will want things like a chainsaw or chains and such when out plowing.

That stinks. You could probably sell it for what you paid, if not more, and wait another 3-4 months for a 2022!

You know, I had thought about doing that even before this had come up. I might just have to test those waters and see what I can get. In this market, I am sure that a truck with 2000 miles on it will be worth pretty close to MSRP, which definitely would net me a profit!

It seems stupid, but I am the service manager for an industrial battery company, so I have things in a crate in my trunk that are covered in corrosion. I'm not sure I really want to introduce that to the interior of my truck! I was planning to keep all that nasty in one of the Ramboxes. I will have to check the layout behind the set and see if I can fit them into a tool bag that will work behind the seat.

I can't believe you had the truck for 2000 miles before noticing you didn't have the RAMboxes!

My truck finally showed up at the dealer on June 15th and picked up on the 16th. I ordered it on Feb 24, received the VON and VIN on the 26th. The truck left the factory on a train on April 8th and arrived in Burlington VT on June 15th.

Starting to think mine is going to get pushed off until the 2022s start production. Ordered 4/29. Got a 2021 VIN the next week. Has been 50 days with basically no progress.

Opened a case with Ram and got this two days after that:
"I presently show your order is being sequenced for production with all the parts necessary to start building your order either being scheduled or gathered". Asked for clarification on that, and never got a response. Three days later, I get the canned response online from Ram Chat that materials are being gathered and it is waiting to be built.

Only thing I have different than most people is the auto-leveling airbags and a longhorn with an 8.4" screen. Not sure what the holdup is, but I have started looking for trucks that are already built. These dealerships are all sticking with MSRP though.
