2021 3500 CCSB HO Build

I pulled a rookie move - after I got my first alignment after the leveling kit and the shop didn't give me a handout. Just went off of what they told me and that they got the toe correct to what I specified per Thuren specs. My right front tire started wearing faster than the rest and it was *barely* squirly on the highway. Still drove great though.

Took it to a different shop, and sure as ****, my toe was way off even for stock specs. Much better now.

With all of that being said, I ordered the Synergy steering brace. More so as preventative maintenance on the steering box. Will see if it works with the Thuren swaybar.

Have something else to play with today or tomorrow. This truck may make me go broke o_O. Should keep my sector shaft happy and tighten up the steering. I'm gonna need a big wrench for the shaft nut lol

Get the right size socket people. Don't use a chain link fence post and an adjustable wrench to try to get the pitman arm nut off

Definitely sliced my finger to the bone.

I would say there has been some settling. I do still sit rear-high but not by much anymore. They also have started making noise but not surprised with the quality of the coating on them and the fact that there are no bushings or anything other than metal-on-metal.

What'd you mean by started making noise? Reason I'm asking, and I know it's not the same setup, but I had new springs and shocks installed all the way around and although it does seem better, the sound is louder when I hit bumps....which I think is a little strange but not sure if that's just normal with these kinds of things.

They creak and you can hear it at very slow speeds with the windows open. Just some dirt that has gotten between the leafs making noise

First impressions of the steering brace... wow it tightens up the steering more than I thought. It really shines on the highway. I'll grab a pic of it installed but after making it past the pitman arm nut... was an easy install. Steering is slightly heavier than before.

@GPurcell01 Did you get any steering pull when you added the Thuren king stabilzer? Did the truck run straight before adding it? Keep seeing contradicting reports that if the truck drives straight, adding it can add right pull?

Yes it added a right pull. But the Nitto's also tend to pull to the right which they did before installing. The damper works extremely well and I'm happy I installed it on the truck.

With stock tires - it pulls on my dad's 2500 as well since I put a similar kit on his truck too.

When I say it added a pull - it's nothing terrible. You let go of the wheel and it will drift you off onto the shoulder slowly.

Thanks for the feedback. Have the opportunity to pick one up but think I might pass? Trucks drives great now with no pull (other then the crown in the road) so don't want to make it drive worse? Adding the Thuren sway bar next week and just going through the front end (hit 100K on the truck) and checking everything.

Gotta love shiny parts! Waiting for an order from Wehrli Fab for a Banks intake horn.

Very impressed with this piece considering it's less than half the cost of what the competition is asking for.

Life keeps throwing me some interesting curve balls this year. I managed to talk my family into giving me the old homestead which is about 3 acres at the front of the farm. I'm also getting into business with a good friend of mine. Needless to say between building a house and starting a new business the truck build is going to be slowed down. Cancelled some orders but still have a few items in the pipeline.

Truck and house build maybe?

The truck build will go faster than the homestead, and you will have the nicest truck at the lumberyard lol, go for it!
