2021-2025 6.7 “Engine Ticking” TSB Released

Have any of you guys watched the Ram master tech channel on youtube? Truck Stuff. He has found every truck he had to diagnose for the ticking noise’s cause. Its a variety of things he found, the latest was sticky rockers, very interesting stuff.

Ya I have seen his videos. I’m surprised he hasn’t gotten flack from higher ups for actually fixing the issues when tsb says not to. Love my 2025 ram 3500 so far. Zero issues

Ugh. IMHO, the guy's kind of a hack and frequently incorrectly describes components, systems, etc. Typical half-a$$ dealer tech. Not all are "bad" but he's def not one of the best.

I tried to give him an honest chance. He lost me
When he put some used oil between two fingers on a gloved hand, swirled them around for two seconds, and claimed he “could tell it had lost viscosity”.

Like you said, too many mistakes, inflated ego, exacerbated by the fact he’s in front of a camera now. And his little buddy JB uses him as the technical support for his own channel, since he’s not mechanical.

No thanks.
