2020 ordering?

There just playing with my emotions. As much as I am getting worked up about it just sitting there, if it arrives damaged (an I know there is a good possibility it could) I'll just loose it. Ill need to log off the forum because you all will commit me

Just want to give everybody an update. Spoke with my dealer an gave him the heads up on how fca has changed some pricing by a 100 or 200 on some build pkgs but it still shows up right on the build site. I also reminded him of his commitment to me that no matter what, if pricing or rebates changed that my price would not change for the more or worse but only get better if more new rebates or incentives came out. He came back with your exactly right, no reason to stress

To brutal , boz, an all: got some answers from ram customer care earlier today as I inquired about the 365 mm rear brakes on the new trucks an do they just come when you specifically order with ( the max tow pkg), or In my situation because I didn't want to finance the $1500 fiver hitch, I selected all the other max tow requirements except for flares an triangles. This is what they sent.
Our records indicate this vehicle was equipped from the factory with the following:
DF2 6-Spd Auto Aisin AS69RC HD Trans
DMF 4.10 Axle Ratio
DRC 12.0 Dual Wheel Rear Axle
ETM 6.7L I6 Cummins HO Turbo Diesel Eng

According to available information, this vehicle should be equipped with the following brake rotor sizes:
Front Brake Rotor Size: 360 x 39.0 mm (14.17 x 1.535 in.)
Rear Brake Rotor Size: 365 x 38 mm (14.37 x 1.50 in)
So needless to say, i am stoked. Just to note, i also did have the rear air suspension but they didn't note that as a requirement. There requirements pretty much make complete sense to me, the only thing I wonder is for those of you that opted to go with the 373 axle. Hmmmmmm. Good info though

Rich, I stressed too much about damage and it was all for naught. Now, the bed and cab alignment I noticed today is a different story...

I went with the 3.73. It also has the 12 rear axle. Since my truck rating is same for payload and near same for towing (32k vs 33k), I just can't imagine the truck having smaller rear rotors. That would be ridiculous. Keep in mind I'm not paying any less than someone with a 4.10.

So, pretty sure a HO dually gets them by default. Guess I'll find out some day...

The dually has the larger rotors. The question is do all the 3500 12" rear axle trucks DRW and SRW have the larger rotors? I just haven't had an opportunity to measure anything. The axle tube does neck down on my SRW. I'd be interested if the Dually doesn't and that's why it now has the larger bolt pattern.

Well I'm going to be very honest my brothers an sisters. We all are able to deal with stress differently, an one day when you try to push it to far an you go over the edge, your never right after that an it changes how you can deal after that. Of coarse you know I'm speaking on behalf of a friend. ;):p:cool:
Now back 2 buisness, if its minor damage ill be able to breath an work it out with the dealership but if its like some of the horror stories, then I might just end up like my friend:mad:o_O:eek:

Well you know that big old 410 tractor axle did cost me a whopping $145. We're definitely getting it narrowed down. At least we know that you can get the bigger brakes with out ordering the max tow pkg. I agree more than likely the rear axle probably has nothing to do with it. More than likely its the
Drw
HO diesel
HD aisin.
I've contacted someone who knows head engineer rod romain an he's checking into it as well, so maybe in a few days he'll get back with me an we can narrow it down some more

I just saw new ad 0 percent for 84 months for 1500's and no payment 3 months.
You guys think that will happen to heavy duty segment?
The diesel HDs typically don't get to play in the zero percent financing game. But they always seem to be offering "no charge" Cummins engines! Marketing shtick. ;)

They could save a lot of confusion if the Max Tow Pkg did not force their fiver hitch on you. My stuff is all gooseneck now, so don't need the fiver hitch, plus if I did get a fiver hitch it would be the made in USA B&W Companion, anyway.

I drove through the dealer lot yesterday killing time, much to my surprise, a salesman cam running out to talk. Talked about the current economic situation and a few other things. Told him up front wasn’t buying anything soon. Will give them a chance later on, but that’s about it. He couldn’t believe they were ”open” aside from the service center. He also used the word “overpriced” when talking new trucks. I related my bad experience couple years ago when I bought my new truck and how I had bought out of market. Never did tell him exactly what truck I was interested in. This dealer is an all American brands, dealer. Smaller outfit. We’ll see in the future, if they can get close. Local gets to mean leads and less to me, the closer we get to chasing better weather. Everybody is local at that point, aren’t they?

plus as you know from my experience, take your time an stretch out the dealing for months an you will come out victorious, just have to out wait them an they will cave
