2020 ordering?

Can you share where you got that information on the 50 gal tank being standard on crew/long bed? It's an option on the RAM build site, I have never seen anything to that effect.
 
It's all over the web, you just have to look for it. There's paragraphs here an there. But your right, you still have to pay the 295 on the site an those who have tried to order truck assuming that it would come standard, surprise surprise they didn't get the 50 gal. So now that mine is built with the 50 because I added to my build, i will present my case to my dealership a couple days before I take ownership. I'll probably lose that fight but hey it's worth the try.

All over the web doesn't mean anything. Do you have any OFFICIAL FCA document that says so? That is the only way you can claim it for free. Otherwise, you are wasting your time.
 
Rich is right. I have seen it all over the web myself - especially magazines previewing the 2020 HDs like Motor Trend - quoting RAM press releases I'm sure. I had to ask my dealer about it before I ordered and they called RAM. The answer was that it was an option and was not included as previously stated. Just changed their minds I guess.
 
Probably a big marketing screw up orrrrrrrrrrrr the old bate an switch advertising, hmmmmmm. I'm sure I'll lose that fight but that's why I ordered it with it so at least I know regardless I got it wich was vey important to me since that was one of the main reasons I halted my 19 build order. ill drop that ball on the table a day or two before i arrive, worth the try, why not.
 
Speaking of the web, what is up with the RAM build site?? Even now, the build site still makes no mention of the XG9 (TTPMS) and XFQ (Auxiliary Camera Wiring.) The Auxiliary Camera Wiring became orderable in January and the TTPMS became orderable on 2/5. Based on the late arrival of those options, I thought they would show up on the build site immediately - but it now been at least a month and half. I feel sorry for non-forum members that printed out the build site options and handed it to the dealer to order.

Given the current economic situation, you may have more pull on this, than you realize. All sales staff are furloughed here, it seems. Haven’t had any calls for several days. Of course, I have made my decision for this year. No new truck. Good luck Rich, give em heck.

I missed adding the XG9 option because it wasn't on the build site, my dealership didn't think to ask me when I was finalizing the order but they did ask me about the XFQ and I did order that. I'll have to get XG9 installed after. The RAM build site needs some work, customers are missing out on essential options that aren't showing up on RAM's site.

Yep, I assumed the aux cam and ttpms were part of the "Towing Tech" package cause they weren't listed. because how are they NOT?
 
I agree the site has been little behind. I did post awhile back all the options that are available to the dealers to put on these things,an its understandable why every configuration isn't on there. I appreciate it Boz, I'll keep everyone posted as to what happens but I'm also realistic also in the fact that will probably be one that i loose, but regardless ill give em he'll an be relentless, no point to change now.

I agree it is everywhere. And like I said a few weeks ago, it is a big marketing screw up. But, until you can prove there is an official document that was available and not retracted by the time you ordered, there is 0% chance that you will get it for free from FCA.
 
XG9 is available on the Canadian build site since mid-February. No idea why it's not on the US one.
 
Come on now, at least give me a 10% chance
 
Real quick just wondering from you all who have recieved your new 20 model Laramie. I've got those chrome ram door sill foot plates in my cart because I don't recall 100% if the rig comes with those. I'm pretty sure they do but not certain.
 
Hahaha, well in that case as you all can attest to, I've got better than 50 50 odds. I can just wait em out. But I'm pretty realistic on that one

My 2020 2500 Limited was ordered without the Trailer Camera Wiring, but it was delivered with it anyway -- a $695 option. I'm not paying for that!
 
Wow, they shanked you on that deal, it only lists for $495 msrp an $450 Your price, at least that's what I'm paying

Crazy, huh?!? I didn't even notice it until my Window Sticker went live and the MSRP was $695 too high. I went back to check the Build Sheet and it was there, too. But it's not on the order sheet from the dealer. We'll be talking about this when I pick up the truck in a day or two!
