2020 ordering?

Just got an update from RAMCares ....
My 2020 2500 Limited, ordered 11/14/19, moved from "D" to "D1" status yesterday. Nice to finally see some progress!

Remind me ....
At what point in the build schedule should my Build Sheet and Window Sticker become available?

My 2020 2500 Limited, ordered 11/14/19, just went from "D" to "D1" yesterday.

I wonder if it's different because yours is a 3500?
Hoping my dealer can find out why mine has been stuck in "D" status since November!
Mine was in D then D1 then back to D then F for 3 weeks and then yesterday in trim today in shipping. One day I had 1 agent tell me f online told me D and another told me D1. All on same day. Seems their system or users not updating

Ordered Nov 18th. KZ status now. Scheduled delivery between Jan 14th - Jan 28th. Sold my Ford Dec 11th...been missing a truck...I am so freaking excited
I know what you mean. I ordered 11/13. Sold my 1999 Powerstroke 2 weeks later. Been truckless since then. Mine is supposedly in shipping. 1/24-2/7 at dealer is ETA

I was in the same situation...just ordered a loaded 2020 6.4 2500 Laramie Crew Cab this afternoon through Dennis Dillon.
LOL - I ordered mine through Dennis Dillon as well - no one could touch their offer, and they did it with out all the haggling BS. Bill Romer is the salesman - very impressed so far. Ordered on the 7th, and got my VIN and VON number today.

Dealer just contacted me: truck has landed in Vancouver and just needs a ride to the dealership so next week it is!

Bill Romer for me as well

Good to see (and sad at the same time ) that air suspension holding up trucks must be a real thing. My sales guy was saying the same thing. I thought it was just because he was trying to convince me to take one of the '19s he had without it. I thought about ordering one instead of waiting on the to get one in stock but really prefer to drive a truck before I buy it.

You can still drive it before you buy it when you order. You just have to put a deposit down when you order it, but not the full downpayment. I put 500 as deposit, truck is at the dealer getting prepped but I won't pay for it until I see it's in expected condition including a test drive.

Ahh, that's good to know. I usually buy trucks at the end of the model year and work a deal on a truck that is close enough. So getting exactly what I want is a little new for me. :).

Anybody have any insight as to exactly what is going on with the air suspensions that is causing this delay? Two months and I am sitting in D status. Something or somebody must have really messed up!

I didn't order air suspension but if it makes you guys feel and better mine was ordered 11/6, finished on 12/7 and is still sitting waiting to get on a train...

I ordered Laramie 2500 on 1/9/20 & dealer immediately came back with Air Suspension was flagged for next allocation which he estimated would be next month. The next day on 01/10/2020 the Vin# was created & entered D status. Dealer was informed the red flag for allocation is for stock orders and that my for purchase order was all set. They must have a limited supply so they are only slotting Air Suspension orders for those that already have purchase agreements. That's pretty good news!!

Yeah, that way if something is ****y with it I could just walk away. May lose my deposit but it buys me a level of security.

Your deposit is fully refundable. It’s kind of like earnest money, you are showing intent to buy. However their is no contractual obligation. You may not be able to come to an agreement on the sale price. In that case you can walk away and the dealer must refund the down payment.

My 3500 has the air leveling and it’s in KZ status ETA at dealer 1-24-2/7 so I don’t think it’s the air holding them up. I was told plant was shut down over the holidays as mine was in paint status for 3 weeks then it moved quick abut a week ago. I also have the 50 gal tank on my build sheet which people thought was not happening. I suspect holidays have delayed trucks not actual options and equipment
