2020 ordering?

Ram care is super inconsistent. FCA is doing a vehicle replacement for me. So I have a third party giving me my info. The dealer is also pretty good.
 
Went to the dealer today and finally got my VON and VIN. Shows that it was ordered on 11/16 and is currently in "D" status. At lease now I can shop actual insurance quotes. Other than that sit back and be patient. Dealer thinks early to mid Feb for delivery.

Mine has been in pint for a week. Was in D1 3 weeks
 
Just got an update from the dealer. The truck is at the destination rail yard waiting to be loaded onto a truck for delivery to the dealer. Been there since 12/21. Here is the funny part: The rail yard is 2 miles from my house, and the dealer is 5 miles Beyond that!

When I ordered my 2014 Laramie it sat in the rail yard 2 hours away for two weeks!. I wrote an email in which I wasn't happy saying I would drive down there and pick it up myself. It was delivered to my dealer the next day. It was like they somehow forgot about my truck. I won't that happen again this time. I'll give them 3-4 days max in the rail yard before I write my email this time.

My dealer told us that it's not uncommon for the trucks to sit at a local shipping yard for a couple of weeks. Crazy, huy?

My 2020 2500 Limited has been at "D" status for 6 weeks now :(
 
Ok. Question. For last 2 weeks my 2020 3500 limited has been staying in paint stage. Now they say it’s frame stage.

VIN- 11/22
D Status- 11/25
D1- 12/11
JB- 12/16
KZ- 12/19 with an ETA on delivery between 12/31/2019 - 01/14/2020.
KZ..- 12/27 arrived in Ohio, I think the next stop is Baltimore. Dealer told me it may sit in Ohio until rail is full
 
Dealer says mine was unloaded from the second train at 2 AM this morning. Now just waiting for it to get trucked from MD to VA!

If you're willing to take the Tradesman with Power Wagon package, it's available in olive green. Not all the same features as the base Power Wagon trim, of course. It wouldn't be my pick but it would get you all the same places, with a little less "luxury."
