2019+ Power Wagon gear availability

Does that mean that tradesman with the power wagon package has a different axle too? I can’t see ram doing that honestly.

I had a bit of a drive on the way home today so I decided to call Yukon and speak with tech-support. FYI I ended up being transferred to Randy’s and I spoke with Gus.

Gus knew exactly what I was talking about when i asked about the differences in the 2019 + trucks from the 2014+ trucks

I will try to explain what he said to the best that my very very poor short term memory would allow me to remember from the time we spoke to the time I could make this post.

2019+ power wagons use the old front end stuff

Non PW 2500s use the same front ring and pinion set but new style bearings.

All 2019+ trucks have a new 32 spline rear end it’s slightly different

TLDR: yes they’re different. But, Both power wagon and 2500 trucks have factory gear sets available so you can regear to 3.73, 4.10 or 4.44 at this moment. No aftermarket options are available until fourth quarter. (Currently in development)

Personally, I’m hopeful for Yukon 4.30s

I bought the Titan Diesel spare tire tank and a 2016 1500 bed side with filler tube. Had a great body shop guy add the factory second gas door in the bed.
I purchased weld on 3/8 hose barb fittings and added them to the factory PW filler tube for the transfer pump. I had to add a one way value to the vent tube to keep the check engine light off. Install was very easy. Built a 3/8 plate skid plate with 1/4" hold downs.
For safety and mainly liability reasons Titan will only sell for Diesel trucks. Due to the fact the FMSCA and Federal DOT outlawed Gas tanks behind the rear axle after 2006. So I do not recommend this install. But it works. Screenshot_20221010-221258.pngScreenshot_20221010-221117.pngPXL_20201113_181622173.jpg

Wow that is super cool thanks for sharing! How much capacity is the rear tank?

Looks cool, but the last thing I'd want to do is add any weight behind the rear axle on my PowerWagon.

Adds 30 gallons of gas. Yeah, the wagon scales out at 11,650 split 40/60 front to rear heading out W/ 62 gal fuel, 30 gal water in the side tanks, a grip load of tools and all supplies to last a week plus.

I installed 5:13s in my 2020 PW in May of 2020 only difference was the rear pinion bearings and front pinion seal. Have 21k miles on gears with no issues. I installed the gears before I shipped truck in to AEV.

I’ve been wanting to re-gear my 2019 since I upgraded to 37’s. Can I ask where you found this 5.13 set and what you did to address the different pinion bearings and seal?

Same question as above @redgoat00. Does anybody know where to find the 5.13 gears for the 2019+ powerwagons?

Here you go! I would talk with ECGS or Yukon and confirm that this applies to the 2019's, but I am 95% sure this is the correct list. This is for the 2014+ trucks and I believe these parts have all remained the same, particularly on the Power Wagon since it did not get the casting change that the standard 2500/3500's did.

@redgoat00 shared the part number for Nitro hear GPRAM2500-5.13 but it seems like Nitro gears no longer makes them. Can't find them in stock anywhere online.

I don't believe Nitro is in business any longer, this is the parts list I had on hand but another supplier is probably going to be needed unless they continue/resume operation.
